I kinda adore this wave. I find AoA Gambit more fun to pose than first-appearance/97, Nightcrawler is ALWAYS fun, Marrow's a top ten wishlist, Husk is someone I never thought they'd make because she's so weird, Fabian is someone I thought they'd never make because he's not flashy, and Nemesis is someone I thought they'd never make because of his horrific original name. Cyke's not bad but probably the least sexy version of him I've owned since the other X-Force version.
 
AoA Gambit doesn’t have that bulky trench coat, so yeah, he’s gonna pose much easier.

I finally got around to joining Husk with the previous Gen X figures. The difference in colors between her and Monet weren’t particularly noticeable in my attic lighting, though it could be awful in daylight. But she looks great with her, Chamber, my kitbash Emma and Banshee. Really eager for Skin, Synch, Jubilee, Penance.
 
And Nightcrawler looks dope with the rest of Uncanny X-Force. Had to use the more aggressive, red-eye head for that. The rest of the figures still hold up despite none of them being on newer bodies or pinless. I think Deadpool is the oldest of the group.

Marrow is a great oddball looking figure. Putting her with Maggot and Random make a cool late ‘90s squad of X-Outliers.

Still have zero interest in Fabian Cortez. Maybe if they make more Acolytes.
 
I bought an extra AoA Gambit purely to represent Wiccan on my modern shelf. Swapped the head with Justice and pulled off the red strap. I don't think I'm going to do more than that because I don't want to forever alter figures for characters I don't care a ton about - but I think this works.

Have all of us made makeshift Gen X Emma and Banshees? I have, so my Gen X shelf is six deep at this point - because I also made Jubilee. :)

I'd like to see a pic of the Gen X shelf. I might need to steal your recipes. Is it a Banshee head on the black-shirted Hydro Man body by chance?

Also good idea for Wiccan.
 
Would love to see a pic of the Wiccan mash up??? Might inspire me to pick these two up just for it 😅

His neck being flesh and not blue is the thing that bothers me. If I cared more I would definitely cut the belt and paint, but this works for me.
 
Love the new Cyclops with that awesome blast effect.

I’m a big fan of the character designs for Holocaust/Nemesis and Genocide/Nemesis, so this new BAF is just the kind of figure I want. Seems to have great poseability for a big armored guy. I’m still missing Nightcrawler, but even this partially built Nemesis is very fun. Wish he had a cool blast effect.

This. That Cyclops is so much fun. It's a shame that it took us this long to get a great optic blast effect.
 
I keep just waiting for Nightcrawler to arrive so I can finish the Build A Figure. It feels like I have had the others so long, and I just need one figure to finish. It's going to be so satisfying to finish this BAF. I don't know why, I say it feels like it's been so long since I've had the others, but I think it's only been 2 weeks lol.

I'm not sure who my favorite is out of this Wave. It's a really solid, fun Wave.

I got Nightcrawler and I completed Nemesis! Nemesis is a very nice, very big BAF. Lots of detail, nice paint apps, and he is just big. This is one of the best BAF's we've got in a while (in my opinion).
 
He's definitely nice and one of the most well-done BAFs they've done in a while. I just wish they'd put that much effort into characters I had bigger connections with.
