There's been a few exclusives like the ones you mentioned and a few convention/Mattel creations offerings too. Honestly I feel like the entire line is mostly a Target in person exclusive in general - that's the only place i ever find them on the shelf - though I know they can be ordered at Wal-Mart/Amazon typically.
 
Don't know how I missed it, but the Hammond Scorpius Rex is 17 inches long!? That makes it as big or a little bigger than the super articulated Indoraptor from some years ago. I was not expecting that! I'm pretty jazzed about this. Since I plan to drop this into other 1/12 displays and don't care at all about scale accuracy, that's going to be a great fit. Can't wait for this slobbery guy. Still interested in seeing how the Mutadon stacks up.

Don't think I've ever heard of the Terraventure line, but that egg incubator looks pretty cool, as do some of the little dinos; love the look of that Spino. I'm not a fan of blind boxes, but I may have to give these a try.

Also - in case anyone else missed the Wal-Mart Scorpios - he came back in stock for a bit today (I managed to get an order in). It looks like he sold out again, but might be worth checking here and there - it worked for me!

Right? I at least want the incubator because I'm pretty sure the scale will work for a 1/12 display. Hoping I can find it on ebay once they drop. I don't want to blind-box my way to one.
 
$60 ain't that bad for Indominus, actually. He's already sold out, but HC has always been pretty easy to find in stores, so I ain't worried. Tempted by the Dilophosaurus, but I already have 3 from JP, so that may be a "wait for a sale" purchase.

It's nice that they're expanding to non-movie dinos for the folks who want them, but I definitely hope they still prioritize finishing off some of the major omissions like the Raptor and Atrociraptor squads. Maybe (hopefully) some of these other releases in the meantime are buying them time to tweak and perfect the Raptor body. It was getting better, but still had some wiggle room

I wonder if the dimensions listed are correct, because they say it's nearly 30" long and 9" high which is HEFTY. A really imposing size in general but also would fit well into a 6" display (my main interest in these). At that size it feels more like a bargain. I'll keep an eye out for it, but if I don't see it that'll be fine because I don't need any more huge ass toys (even if I might want them).

I do think it would be nice if it had splayed "walking" hands.

Hmmm. The Target listing says it's 26 inches. The Giga's listing says it was "more than 29 inches". I don't think the Indominus was bigger/longer than the Giga, was it? I think it was somewhere between the Giga and Spino, size-wise. Don't get me wrong- 26 inches is definitely hefty, but at least it'll take up a few inches less. I only have so much shelf space. 😅
