NECA - General Thread

I think that's the only true Target exclusive. Maybe the Foot Bot two-pack? I could see other stores getting singles of those.

Apologies, I don't know how Haulathon works and have a couple questions I hope y'all can answer. Does the in-store display include all the figures when it goes up or just a subset? I believe the figures come out in weekly batches online, but I don't know if that's how it works for the store, too. Also, are there restocks of figures throughout Haulathon. If I find the display at my Target but the figure I want has already sold, is it worth me checking back at that store later during the event? I appreciate any info y'all can share. Happy hunting!

It can vary from store to store, but usually there's a reset or two in-store. Other times it's one big dump.

What Misfit said; since every store is run so differently, it's hard to know what to expect or plan for. I have 2 big Targets near me, both of which have pretty comparable and sizable figure sections. One of them- the smaller of the two, actually, had the full shipper out, with about 3 or so of each figure on it. I think it got refilled once or twice while it was out, but not every figure got more stock put out (that I saw, anyway). The other Target, the bigger of the two, never got the shipper, they just put them on the pegs sporadically. Same with whatever Funko Con thing Target did in the last week or two- one of them got a bunch of the exclusives and put them all on an endcap, while the other one, if they got them, have yet to put them out.

All that is to say, it's kinda impossible to know, unless you talk to your specific Target or NECA Ambassador (assuming they even know). Depends what your store ordered, I suppose. But also, as others have mentioned too- supposedly all of these releases will be available wider later on, it's just a first-to-market kind of situation. But may we all have good luck getting the ones we want!

I’m noticing Factory Entertainment (their headquarters are located by the Costco in my hometown! Why can’t they make less shitty products so I can feel pride about that!) has the license to make a 1:6 Rick O’Connell

NECA, I know you have a working relationship with Universal, and while I know there’s probably reasons you can’t make Eggers Nosferatu or GDT Frankenstein, you’re literally leaving money on the table not making Rick, Evie, and Imhotep if the license is available!!!

I saw their Rick too; he looks pretty good. Not to Hot Toys level or anything, but not bad for what it is. Feels a little bit like a slightly updated version of an early Sideshow figure, which feels a little nostalgic- in good and bad ways. I definitely hope we get some more Mummy merch before the new movie comes out. I'm sure the movie itself will generate some interest, and hopefully whatever merch we do get for it won't just be confined to the new film.

Got em' in the wild.
(holy grail for me)

I grabbed them both, but mostly because NECA is starting to become one of those things for me where, if I see it in stores at all, it'll only be once, and then never again. Herman is the definite winner, but they both make me happy to look at.

Can't remember if it's been asked in all the talk of the old DST line, so my apologies if so, but worse comes to worse and they never make anyone else, how exactly do the DST Munsters figures scale? I know it would probably be inaccurate, but as long as it's not too egregious, I wouldn't mind fudging a bit. Marilyn, especially, I'm just not interested in enough to really care about scale accuracy
