McFarlane DC Multiverse

Jayger 101 on YouTube says he thinks a lot more stuff is about to go up for preorder in March. Make of it what you will. It tracks if Todd does DC preorders every other month until October, that will close us out by December.
I checked and the preorder for 89 Joker is listed as coming out in April, along with the Power of Shazam, Black Canary, Larfreeze, Lobo, etc.

Not definitive since the Dark Knight/Superman/Bane wave is listed as the same but that's already out in the US. It does give a decent timeframe when they might come out.

Looks like the theatrical edition Joker/Bane/Supes are all up for pre-order at the usual places.

Forgive me for being out of the loop on this one, but remind me what the difference with this Bane is? Is it just slightly updated paint, and a way to give him to fans who didn't get the BAF wave? He looks the same to me otherwise.

The Theatrical Wave went up for sale today.
Passing on all of them because I bought them all when they came out last year with fewer accessories. That spread of movie accurate Joker accessories and a smiling Superman head would have been much appreciated the first time around, but no way am I playing this double dipping game. If anything, for me it just increases the bad faith.....no reason that isn't stuff we just could have gotten the first time at these mercenary prices.

And LOL at the big trading cards. Fans: "We could care less about the trading cards". Todd: "OK, here's TWO trading cards instead of one."

I'm in two minds about pre-ordering Joker and Superman for that very reason, should have gotten the extras 1st time round. Or make different accessories this time round like heat vision attachment, kryptonite necklace, and different expressions for Joker

I like the trading cards. 🤷‍♂️

On the other hand, I could do without the stands, I already have stacks of them. I fully admit they are a more valuable accessory for an action figure, but these stands take up too much space. When stands are needed, I use smaller ones.

Basically my same thought process. Thought about getting the Joker, but he's really not much better beyond accessories; maybe if he had a better headsculpt/paint. Not rebuying things nowadays to get an extra accessory, plus they didn't even include the money pile for those buying it this time. My last McFarlane Joker may be 89 Nicholson-Comic-based Joker. We'll see how that goes.

And they took out the wire in Superman's cape. So it's another step forward and a step back, purposely not giving you the maximum value while you pay the maximum price.

I can say with pretty good certainty that "Nicholson" Joker WILL be my last. Besides the Ledger Joker I have the Arkham and the COIE versions, both are pretty well done.

Hello all, I’m a newbie here, and with the line ending soon, I have a question. Although it’s been mentioned many times in the past, does anyone know anything credible about McFarlane releasing a Burt Ward Robin? I figured they made the ‘66 line with Batmobile, made a CE version of Adam West, and RE-made the car for the larger scale. Why then wouldn’t they release Robin as well? I know there’s a lot of teams that will never get finished, but there’s no Boy Wonder more instantly associated with Batman than Ward. Personally, while I’d like a Lynda Carter, and I’ll grab that GA Vigilante ( since when will Mattel realistically ever get to making HIM?), that Robin would cap my McFarlane experience most satisfactorily, so long as he scales correctly with the West figure. I’m trying to be careful what I wish for.

the batman '66 line by mcfarlane has made a few versions of burt ward robin, but its been a few years since the main versions came out. the most recent one is the frozen one from a year or so ago... the rarest is a platinum unmasked version which had a very limited release

As far as I’ve heard, Burt Ward/Robin has not been rumored. That’s not definitive, but I do try to keep on top of announcements and rumors regarding DCM .

Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman and John Wesley Shipp/Flash are rumored to be in the works.
