While I understand what Classified was going for with the modular fortification, cost is a bit prohibitive to buy enough to build a fortress. It’s true the Cobra Bunker isn’t a fortress either, but it does cut a more imposing presence than the fortification does, without buying several of them.
The Bunker would be a great companion piece to fortification. So, Yes.

I think the setup I saw someone do with the Joe version (x3) was a pretty good attempt at a "base" for what you get. Using the walls to expand out and then build up a middle tower really gave it a sort of cheap, mobile fortress ala Battle Force 2000. It works well enough considering what was used to make it.

Imagine if they did a bunker and also included a few extra pieces to further expand/strengthen the Fortifications as well? That would be a good way to charge their current crazy pricing.

Yeah and going by the vehicle box art the Joe roster would have been halved from all the dead Joes who took backblast to the face from terribly placed missile launchers and footholds.
