I realized that there was no thread for the reaction figures yet. Post here about super 7 Reaction and Reaction + figures

The reaction+ Micronauts Baron Karza has shipped from Amazon. I'm really glad to be getting new Micronauts at all but I hope for future ULTIMATES! Or if possible marvel legends. I mean the back of the card for the reaction Biotron mentions lore exclusive to the marvel comics so maybe. Either way this will work for now. I also have the tiny unarticulated Baron Karza from the sdcc revolution boxset. Between those two and a potential larger figure either from Super 7 or Hasbro I could maybe do a growing display like I've seen with some ant man collections. I know Karza isn't known for size changing constantly but I still think it would be cool. At least until other Micronauts get made at a larger scale. I'm a fairly casual fan of the Micronauts, I've read some of the marvel comics and I read the revolution comic crossover that started the whole idw Hasbro shared universe . But I always loved Baron Karza's Darth Vader esqe design

Got the Where The Wild Things Are ReAction figures from Amazon today. All 4 were in a box big enough to fit a small child, and while the damage was mostly confined to little bends and frays, poor Carol looks like he owed someone in the mob money. This isn't just "rattle around a big box" damage, it looks like someone stepped on him and then tried to hastily tape him back together- there's a bunch of clear packing tape all over the cardback and holding the bubble down. And they stuck a little barcode sticker on him to boot. Luckily Amazon is always pretty good with replacements; haven't reached out yet- trying to think of a way to put it without them thinking it was me who did it. 😅

It would definitely be neat to have an ultimates of the Micronauts or even Marvel legends. However, time will have to tell whenever we’ll get such in the future. Baron Karza is pretty neat, just got the reaction+ figure of him. That being said, I hope Super7 makes more of these guys so I can pair them up with each other and other figures in scale. Though, doing a growing display is such a cool idea. Would be cool to take photos of him size shifting. Makes for good photo opportunities with this reaction figure. You could photoshop him in various scenarios in real life. How epic would that be? Does the Baron ever grow larger than a human? What are his limitations in growth? I’m quite new to the Micronauts, almost getting into them, have read a bit about Karza and other characters in the wikis. The microverse seems pretty interesting. I didn’t know that Micronauts was tied in with Marvel, that’s awesome. I read that they were apart of Transformers lore as well. I too very much like his Darth Vader design. Though, he looks so much more intimidating with his design and red piercing eyes. Did you know the original Mego toy was a copy based off an existing Kotetsu Jeeg (Steel Jeeg) super robot mold? It was retooled and reimagined into the Baron Karza we all know and love, the evil tyrant of the Microverse. He’s truly pure evil.

Sheesh, that’s harsh. I’ve had something similar happen to me with a Star Wars Black series figure. The whole box was mangled and taped up. Fortunately, the figure inside was alright. I just didn’t feel like sending it back, so I just opened it right up. Where The Wild Things are felt like a while ago. I remember seeing the trailers of the movie. Didn’t know they made figures from that. That’s pretty awesome.

The few Reaction figures I do buy (Peanuts, Pre code horror, Pee Wee, Richard Scarry) are the only figures I keep in the package. They are more about the imaginary childhood they represent than the actual “quality” of the figures themselves. Amazon trashed 2 of my WTWTA figures too. I sent them back and replaced them from BBTS. What was I thinking getting them from Amazon in the first place?

I still have some of the early MOTU Reaction figures that I keep MOC and have them blu-tacked to the edges of where my bookcases join to hide the gap in between where all my lighting cords are dangling. They serve their purpose there.

Saw the Wild Things Reactions at WM (behind glass). They're kinda tempting. They also had the newest wave of Reaction Godzillas (Minus One, 90s Mechagodzilla, Godzilla vs Biollante.

Just state it, show a pic, and say it came like that.

I just lay it out and let them deal with it. They never come back with questions unless it's an expensive item or electronic.

Got the two “Gremlins 2” figures today and they are much much bigger than the original Reaction “Gremlins” line of 2016. Those figures scaled nicely with 6” lines. These new sculpts are comparably huge! Mogwailook too big even for 12” Spike might pass in 6”

Is there a tutorial or faq here for photo posting? Im using photobucket

With Flikr on the bottom right of the image there is a curved arrow, you select the size of the image and then copy the url that appears, and paste it right into the forum.
I haven't had Photobucket since they decided they wanted to charge for using their service, so I'm not sure how much it's changed. I know there was an option to get just the image URL, and the forum has an add image button across the top of the reply window.

Happy to see these continuing. If only Hasbro would come through with some of the Marvel owned characters. They even mention Princess Mari on the back of the Microtron card...

I assuming Acroyear will be in wave 3. I'll be surprised if the line goes past wave 3. Can never tell with Super7. Amazon had wave 1 on sale for about $15 during their Amazon Day sale. I'm assuming they'll be marked down again for the holidays. Maybe I'll crack and order them, as I'm not paying full price for anything Reaction.
