Mattel DC Figures

I don't know how big the waves are expected to be for the Mattel DC Adult oriented stuff, but I'd argue there should be room for one truly deep cut in each wave.

For example, let's say they're 5 figures then that should allow for 2 A-list anchor variations a couple of B/C list characters that most casual comic book fans would know and then one more obscure character that maybe has never had a figure done in a similar scale. I think that would be my formula if I had input. So an example might be a Batman variation, an Aquaman, a Black Manta, a Ra's al Ghul and then somebody like a Shadow Thief or a Rainbow Raider. I think that could be a very sustainable model and a way to cover all of their bases for all types of fans. I don't think that one really deep cut per wave is too much to ask if there are say more than 3 figures in any given wave.

Careful. There's people 'round here that get like... the most butthurt you've ever seen in your life... when you talk about peoples' moms. It's not a funny joke. It's evil and vile and mean and disgusting and fucking shame on you. SHAME.
What if everyone's moms are reading these posts right now? How will you feel knowing that you've emotionally and probably physically somehow violated every AT members' moms?

Grow up, JOSHUA.
I would say their mom's butt hurt too by the end of it.

How would I feel? A bit spent, honestly. That's a lot of moms, but I guess someone has to be the one to do it. Or them. I'll take one for the team.

(tee hee)

But to anyone I have offended, I do apologize. You can find me behind the 7/11 at 3:45 sharp, and I'll offer you one free slap with the object of your choice.

Only the ones who know the comments about their moms are true!

Now you're sounding like one of the moms...and it's kinda turning me on.
What if everyone's moms are reading these posts right now?
They aren't. They're too sleepy from the pounding they just took.

I'd imagine it would be a great sense of accomplishment!

And just so you know, Josh is busy violating the DADS. He left the moms to me. We high five in the hallway in-between sessions.

I mean, preferably, but when it comes down to it, just turn the lights off and it all feels the same.

People tell me I'm like Batman- I work best when I'm completely obscured in shadow and you can't see what a hideous, fearsome creature I am.

When I told you to go violate yourself, I got grounded. Unfair. I'm the worst-treated child in history. Many people are saying so.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER.

You need to smear orange grease paint all over your face before you post things like that.

Otherwise, it doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

This is the romantic ideal, BUT they should only fully adopt this model once they have that foundation secure. Whether it's by an up front roadmap plan, digital renders, showing off 2-3 waves at once, or just going front heavy with them, it really doesn't matter. We just need to know how and when we're getting those main 6 A-listers, and then they can do whatever else they want.

5 figure wave every other month would be optimal. BaF looks to be dead. A formula to follow might be nice, but so would a theme. Remember how cool DCUC wave 19 was with all the JSA goodness. 😁

My formula would be:

A or B+ lister
Corresponding villain
Cult character
World builder
Outlier

So:

Superman
Brainiac
Warlord
Will Payton/Starman
Loose Cannon
