G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

I'm probably in the minority here (maybe?) but I would be down for one of those ultra-90s style 'what if' lines - TMNT style.

What if Spearhead and Destro were medieval knights? What if Snowjob and Dr. Mindbender were old west gunfighters? What if Zandar and Bazooka were 18th century pirates? What if Leatherneck was a 16th century vampire hunter and Baroness was a vampire?

Wasn't there a thing in one of the file cards or something about locals spreading rumors about the wolfman in the woods that was actually Snake Eyes and Timber?

Let's not forget that episode from ARAH where Cobra used ghosts to fight the Joes. There was a WW1 fighter pilot, Roman Soldier and warrior woman. So all three could be canon figures and hell the ghost aspect gives Lenny an out for why they should be made and how to "zhuzh" them up for Classified.

I attempted, and got part way, through a custom a number of years back. I took a grey variant werewolf from Wetworks (McFarlane Toys) and finagled a saddle onto it from some horse toy. Then I took a Grail Knight from the Indiana Jones line and tried to get a Duke head onto it. Never really got it to work 100% and just kind of abandoned it (still have all the parts though).

That was my attempt at a fantasy, middle ages, alternate reality Joe character. I went with the obvious "The Duke" as his name (yeah, yeah I know SOOOO original :ROFLMAO: ).

So long story short I would be down for some alternate reality takes on Joe. Not sure I would want just "WW1/WW2" takes because that is pretty obvious. However other historical era army takes, etc. could be fun.
 
There are millions of "What Ifs..." sublines, but I don't want to clog the news thread with what we all know will eventually devolve into pirate themed dick jokes, so I'll wait for somebody to bring it up in the chatty thread.
 
Caught the Full Force podcast tonight after he went live unexpectedly.

Turns out Hasbro shut down Atomic Arcade Studios. They were the ones making that AAA Snake Eyes video game. So while there has been no word on the game being cancelled I imagine it will be difficult to get the game finished unless it was very close to being completed.

The writer of the new file cards (Mark Beasley?) was in the chat while he was going over them and pointed out some stuff about the new cards and said he should be able to do an interview with the Full Force in the future. The new characters are obviously new file cards, but Overkill has a mostly new file card as well compared to the original ARAH release. As well some minor additions/subtractions for the other existing characters to supposedly better fit with the times.
