I can almost imagine the footprint of a 40" bridge. The Jakks WWE Real Scale Elimination Chamber is advertised on the box as 33". If I'm assembling the Chamber on the floor, I sometimes have to stand up and walk around it to snap in pieces.

I have no idea where I would put a 40 inch bridge, but I want it. And like you said, I also want to support it.

Oh, I was hoping it was "other" other figures so I could get a better idea of the size of these.

I just read an unsourced rumor that each piece of the bridge dio will be around $50, which doesn't sound outlandish. Still, with 12 pieces total, that's $600 for something that will likely stay in storage for most of it's 40" x 40" life. Suddenly, just getting the command chair, conn desk and a few background stations doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

Not a rumor. Brian said so in an interview with AIC.

Not sure how he's doing it, but Brian is the man.
 
That sounds like a pretty reliable source.

But yeah, lights and sounds and $50? Honestly, each of the figures comes packed with extras (Year of Hell Janeway already has her own command chair). Either he knows a guy, or he's really overextended himself. Or maybe non-articulated display pieces are easier to make than I thought.
 
Oops. I mentioned these figures to the Missus and of course she had to see them. Fast forward and now I have Kirk, Geordi and Worf pre-ordered. So I guess I'll be getting a first hand impression of them before committing to any for myself.

A surprising note is that a few of them are sold out already on BBTS. Capt. Garrett, Tuvix and Valkris, of all people. I wouldn't have guessed *they* were the most popular, but I guess another interpretation is that Nacelle didn't make many of these D-list characters to start with.


Oh, and we talked about the build-a-bridge set and have a rough idea to use it as our tree skirt for Christmas next year.
 
I'll be surprised if more than two pieces of the bridge are available by Christmas 2026.

Pixel Dan posted a video walk-through of all of Nacelle's Toy Fair stuff and Brian said the fixed first wave is supposed to start shipping out this Thursday. I don't know what that means - from China? Seems unlikely - it's Chinese New Year, right? Are the figures already in the US? That turnaround seems too fast to be true.

Brian mentioned the bridge piece was shipped to Toy Fair directly from the sculptor and it was *his* first time handling it. His ideas for it are very nice and that it should have no visible seams and will connect through a twisting mechanism underneath - it won't fall apart if you drop it - but it may break.

Toyark has clear photos of everything and the prototypes for Series II still look a bit off to me, especially all the women. Geordi and Worf look great, though, and I really want the Arch. Oh, and Brian kept saying "in 1:10 scale" about the Arch so I guess that's the scale these will be. Maybe.

But the facepaint on all the samples looks like it was done by an amateur - it looks like how I paint eyes. Really hope they work out the kinks by Wave 3.

They also had production samples of The Expanse figs - hooooo, glad I bailed on those. Holden is probably the best of these, but they all look like Mezco's Heroes action figures. Avasarala lost all likeness and sculpted detail on her dress, it's now just paint. What a bummer - did they use the same crap factory as Trek Wave 1?
