GI Joe x TMNT toys coming.

What appeals to me is that both properties take place on our earth. These aren't (for the most part) aliens, this doesn't take place in a distant future on another planet. It's surprising, but Joe and TMNT mix well together. It helps that military versions of the Turtles exist. It's almost like these already exist somewhere. I think the mash ups make a lot of sense, but seeing Leo in all black like that makes me wish Raph was the one to be Snake Eyes based on his Archie wrestling costume. I get why it's Leo, but aside from both wielding Katanas, they don't share the same aura. Raph seems more spiritually connected to Snake Eyes.
 
Those are going to come in sets, right?
I would really like to have Leo and Slash, but I don't need the entire collection. So if they're being sold together I suppose it's just a pass.

I had the same thought about Raph and Snake Eyes, but then upon further consideration I think Leo makes more sense. Raph is a hothead while Leo is more calm and collected like Snake Eyes. The only real similarities Raph has to Snake Eyes is that they’re the most popular characters. I don’t know about Roadblock working with Raph either though. Maybe Gung Ho or Beachhead instead?

Overall, I’m way more into the villains with this line. Each one I saw made me nod my head in agreement, whereas a lot of the Turtles made me go, “Well, I guess…?”
