Studio Series.

With the introduction of '86 into Studio Series, it really became another avenue to get G1-inspired figures that otherwise would have been in Classics/Generations/Age of Primes this year.

I think SS Megatron looks incredible so far. There's even a video floating around that shows the transformation. Pretty intuitive, though they're doing some clever things with the legs.

That does look really nice. I may end up grabbing that. Its one of the best G1 Megatron figures I've seen.

Oh, yeah, lol - see, I didn't notice them because they sit flush with the anatomy! I was looking for crap glaringly stuck on back or arms, lol.

I'm also relieved this SS Megatron isn't commander class. Leader class is appropriate for him and a relief on my wallet.

I think he looks pretty good. There’s things I don’t like about the colorways but they are accurate to the cartoon.

Like I’d prefer if the diaper and legs weren’t different shades of grey/blakc but it is how he actually looks

Lots of pics of upcoming stuff thanks to Takara:

Turns out that back kibble on Devastator is a lot, which is weird since they had to introduce mass for the thighs. Not sure what happened there.

Megatron not being a gun is fine because I don't really transform those guys. I know.

I would like a reissued Starscream as I missed the Coronation one by my own hesitancy. Is Soundwave in the pipeline for 86?

Mixmaster looks sick. Can't wait to complete Devastator.

Supposedly that startscream is kind of bad. But I do really like the accessories.

In other news I ended up getting an age of the primes silver bolt so I guess I’m in for superior as well as devastation.

Will also get megatron when he drops
