Do tell! What parts you got lined up?
Picked up Cardiac and I think he came out beautifully. I'm surprised how much I like the deep blue color on him. I like that they kept the EKG lines unbroken throughout the sculpt as much as possible. In the legs especially - we've seen plenty of figures in the past with obvious places to hide articulation breaks that got overlooked, but here they correctly hid the thigh twists inside the leg bandoliers instead of cutting right through the design. Likewise it seems like butterflies or a waist cut would have broken up the design in an ugly way, so I don't mind the tradeoff there. But, they love using that inverted ab crunch so much everywhere else instead of ball joints, and here it seems like it would have been perfect - my only complaint about a figure I'm otherwise happy with.
A balljoint waist would have been great, but of course we know they're currently deploying those at a pace of about a single figure per year. I can imagine a scenario where they tried the reverse ab crunch and it was too wide to not futz with the design, so they made the choice to ditch it - I can live with that, because the figure overall is still great. The lack of inverted ab crunch or pelvic ball joint is basically why I’m waiting to get this guy if I see him hit discount rather than pay full price. The nose issue is one I can disregard as it’s a mild difference, but a bespoke body with purposely omitted articulation has to be dealt with appropriately.

Hasbro cheaps out on so many things so often it's hard to credit the more charitable explanation with things like this. Regardless, he's a great figure!I would guess it was most of a cost choice than anything. Cardiac is an expensive figure by Legends standards because of the unique sculpt for basically everything. Cutting out another assembly point in the waist helps to lessen it, even if it's only a few cents per figure. Not breaking up the sculpt gives them a convenient out in this case.
