Using Hasbro / corporate logic, companies like Fresh Monkey Fiction, Valaverse, and Jada Toys should be financially insolvent and cease to exist. Wont someone think about the billion dollar company's quarter over quarter positive comp rate?

Let's not complain when they do a major character well, as they seem to have done with Smart Hulk - and adding the slippers is a nice touch. That's the sort of attention we should be happy about.

I think there are plenty of examples of questionable character selection or execution to point to when asking why we haven't gotten team members or major characters with long histories.

I would say include a repainted Timber from GIJoe Classified with a human Rahne, nothing says it has to be a Target/Walmart release. It can be in another wave where that would possibly be doable, or as a cheaper deluxe.

Imagine if the line up made sense with something like:

Warbow
Ogeode
Feldspar
Moltar
Magma Man
Zardeth
BAF: Crystal Dragon

Now that's a BAF wave I could get behind!

The Hasbro play would be those characters with a Skurge BAF

Fine. I don't need to collect a BAF, I'll just throw the piece out or give it to a toy store near me that sells used figures.
