Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

I went looking for a Scare Glow and found about 20 of those gold Skeletors (very small!) and picked up the lil He-Man, Skeletor, and Man At Arms figures. Beast Man was gone tho. They’re fun little things. But I wonder if I should have looked harder for Scare Glow, who was not on the pegs with the rest of what I found.
 
I've got my brother looking at his Walmart too, which is a trigger I usually don't like to pull because I hate bothering people about this stupid hobby, but he doesn't seem to mind. Not expecting much though.
 
I’m on my like 10th Walmart in the last few days, about to walk out with a Platinum Elongated Man from Toddy Mac but

NOOOO SCARE-GLOW.

I had a similar run today. No Scareglow but I found the kids Core line Gold Skeletor, the $10 Mini Power Swords, and Mini Masters Skeletor (they didn't have He-Man, Beast Man, or Man At Arms for the Mini Masters).

I picked up 1 Core Gold Skeletor, the last 2 Mini Masters Skeletor's, and x2 of the Mini Power Swords. No Scareglow, but at least I did find new merch.
 
I've had no luck in my quest for Scare Glow either. I hate having to continue to visit freakin' Wal-Mart stores! It's like descending into a special layer of Hell.

I want it but I’m not sure I’m going to hit every Walmart in town hoping to find it
 
So I see how Scare Glow is an improvement over existing Masterverse bodies. Ran home for lunch to open him up and mess with him. In addition to ball pivots at the mid torso and waist, he has a similar set up at the top and bottom of the neck. He’s got ball hinge wrists and ankles that peg into the hands, similar to McFarlane but with smooth movement, no detents. Pinless elbows and knees. Drop hips. Butterfly joints at the ball hinge shoulders. No thigh swivels but the ball sockets offer some pivot, and he has boot swivels over the ball hinge ankles. These are definitively an upgrade over the standard Masterverse body.

Then there’s the 100% unique sculpt. I love that his bones are finally sculpted over the body. There are striations on his skin making it look like muscle tissue. The only weird spot of sculpted bones is the abs, where the bones are meant to look like his spine, but why not sculpt on his back (which has no bone sculpt at all). Even finger bones and toe bones are sculpted (metacarpals and metatarsals?)

Shoulder armor is removable if you remove the skull and flames. Moving jaw would have been nice. Cape is expectedly chintzy. Spear is sick. Overall, could be an amazing sign of what’s to come from MotU. Was never a fan of Scare Glow because his figures never impressed me. Until now.
 
Gotta say- I totally don't deserve this figure as much as the rest of you, being a newbie to the franchise, but I'm still oddly excited by it. Not only does he just look badass, but from what I've learned, he's more or less the MOTU equivalent of my favorite DC villain (I mean, they basically have the same name). There aren't really any Walmarts close to me, at least that are easy/cheap to get to without a car, so I'm banking on him popping up on the website. I hope he does eventually, and at a time when folks can actually manage to get one.

New fans are always welcome! I absolutely deplore fan gatekeeping. The more the merrier.

I don't know DC that well, which character are you referencing?
