Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

Oh my god it's beautiful so far. If they're coming out swinging with 200X inspired designs for Chronicles, I'm all in. I like that it's a classic-esque sword with him as well. Best of both worlds!

For clarity, what is Club Grayskull and how hard are their releases to get? I've never used Mattel Creations, so I'm a bit clueless.

Think HasbroPulse membership. $9.99, and you get first access to exclusives, head's up newsletters like this, etc. Sometimes Creations only items, sales, etc.

I'll put it this way: I haven't used it yet. I suspect I will for this Grayskull. But thus far, even at 9.99, it hasn't really done anything for me.

So far they have kept the Club Grayskull exclusives exclusive to members. Even when they went on sale. Sorry I should clarify member exclusive items, not items that are "first 24hr access for members." So it could be a long time before they allow full access because once they do that most people will have no reason to really bother signing up if they know exclusives, if they don't sell out, will eventually be made available to everyone.

Also Club Grayskull is cheap, but because it is cheap you don't really get anything for it outside of what RicksNerdLife posted. No free shipping, no discount shipping, and only at the end of the 2025 did they throw members a bone with an additional discount on items on sale on Mattel Creations.

I was a member the first year but I haven't reupped yet because I just don't see the value in it right now. Maybe if something significant changes I consider reupping.
 
Well shit. I forgot about all this stuff.

Any Club GC members want to pick up an extra figure for Uncle Damien, or do I have to give Mattel money literally for the privilege of being allowed to give them more money?

Speaking of, I did stop by Walmart to try and spot a Scareglow. No luck at all. No surprise though, my Walmart is always barren of toys at all times. Will pray that online stocks materialize eventually.

Same. I checked two Walmarts in the last two days, mostly because I was right next to them, and man... the toy aisle in both hasn't changed at all in probably 4-5 months, at least. Same half-empty action figure aisle with the shittiest action figures no one wants, one or two Street Fighter figures, and a bunch of (old) WWE figures.
The only new thing I've seen in months were all the new Mario figures. Which have an aisle displayer and aren't actually in the regular action figure aisle anyway.
 
I've been keeping an eye out for y'all.

The Wally where I found the two for myself and my buddy has been bone dry since that day, but I've been checking others.
 
I'm definitely getting this King Grayskull, as I am a Club Grayskull member. But those crazy ass bastards didn't send me any e-mail saying this was coming in 11 days. Im a CG Member, and I've bought every He-Man toy these mo fo's have ever released in Mattel's MOTU history, and they don't drop the Camel an e-mail?

Oh but they LOVE Rick, and his big Nerd Life. Sending him e-mails, powdered cakes, and luxuries you and I can't even begin to imagine!

Wait, before I keep shitting on everything, did you get the e-mail directly from Mattel Creations RicksNerdLife, or was the e-mail just like from a friend who saw those Grayskull pics and teases on social media?


Also, I keep checking Wally's for Scareglow too. If I find multiple, I'll get them and help anyone I can.

You didn't find it at Wal-Mart, Mattel sent it to you in an Easter basket full of well wishes and sex toys with a mint in box plastic glowing Skeleton man.

No wonder Ace couldn't find one. Mattel held them all back for their favorite person, and apparently the only person alive on their e-mail mailing list.
