Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

Blade and Brown/Gold Wolverine have shipped from Amazon. My excitement for this wave has cooled a bit since I ordered them but it will be nice to have a Snipes Blade finally.

I sure wish they would make a Wesley Snipes Blade from Blade. I've been watching that movie at least once a year since it came out because I love it so much. On the other hand, I can't stand Deadpool in any form or fashion so I had no desire to see the new movie or get any of the corresponding toys, including Old Man Blade.

I'm happy for everyone that is into D+W though, and I'm glad they are getting a good amount of toys to represent the movie. I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for the next batch of MCU Legends that I care about to be revealed. It will probably be Brand New Day or Doomsday, but I'm still holding out hope for more stuff from past films and shows.

I don't know if they'll ever go back and release figures for those older movies, as cool as it would be, but I wonder if you couldn't kitbash something together. This new Blade figure, along with some parts from the previous couple releases- the one from the Mindless One wave, maybe even way back to the original Man-Thing wave, and other spare parts here and there. Might be a little work, but if it would give you your perfect figure, it could be worth it!

It's fine. It's fun. It's silly. If there's gonna be a non-fake April Fool's figure, I guess that's as good as any. And considering how often Hugh takes his shirt off in all the movies, I'm sure if you pop that torso on basically any Logan legs/head, it'll be applicable.

It's funny, as much as I love Wolverine, I don't feel like the Wolverine variants are as necessary/exciting as the Deadpool ones. Maybe because Deadpool is known for having multiple co-existing versions?

I would certainly buy this version, but it bums me out that they're not exploring more of the variants of Wolverine besides the brown costume. Short King, Cavill, Age of Apocalypse, Patch... come on, there are so many options. Same goes for Deadpool. At least include an alternate head to pop onto one of the many Deadpools we have in the same costume over and over.

Anyway, I hope this is real. EDIT: Actually, I bet it's fake. The torso seems beefier than previously released Wolverines. It's only got that archaic ab crunch, no butterfly shoulders. The legs don't look reused either. Must be fake.
