That is so damned tempting, especially given all the boners about him in this thread. But I really would like the more Mansonish, Alan Moore looking version from the IDW comics. Him and Serpentor, IDW made disturbing and memorable. And I don't always need things to be dark and grounded, but in these instances I appreciated it.
 
Meant to sleep through the Target drop but my toy-brain woke me up to order it as usual. Target had a nice $10 off $60 so I threw some Albanese True to Fruit gummy bears in to hit that goal. Mostly stoked for Steeler, he looks cool and he has my favorite Uzi and holster. Short-Fuze is okay, his m224 mortar backpack is great but it's hard to get excited for a Stalker repaint this far into the line. And I wish his shirt wasn't so bright yellow-green.

These are a couple handsome gents in this pack. They look like possible love interests from The Vampire Diaries. But they don't have time to be dating the protagonist. They're G I JOE.
 
I’ve had Slice and Dice sitting in my cart for the past week while I hemmed and hawed over what else to put in to get it to free shipping. Crystal Ball was impossible to find in store or at Walmart’s website, so I kept his page open for the heck of it since the Trench Viper had randomly come back in stock a couple weeks ago, not thinking it would actually work. I couldn’t believe it when it didn’t say “Sold Out” like usual!

I've had too many sleepless nights and early wake-ups for toy pre-orders this year, so I decided fuck all that bullshit and have been sleeping in on pre-order days. Sure, I don't get to pre-order the Steeler and Short-Fuze 2 pack. Sure, I missed the Batman Returns McFarlane stuff. But I get to experience the sleep of the innocent, slumbering peacefully with no worries or stress over the toys I so desperately desire. Let woken Nik deal with that, sleeping Nik don't give a care. And when it comes down to it, I'll find a way to get those toys, one way or another. No more sacrificing my psyche and my sleep for this bullshit.
 
I thought the Steeler/Short-Fuze 2pk was going up for order at 9am PST. Nope, it was EST. Whoops. Missed out on them. Had a $10 off $60 I was waiting to use as well. Double whoops.

Speaking of this 2pk, anyone else bothered by the colors of Steeler and Short-Fuze being flipped? Steeler was always a more more yellow/green color. And Short-Fuze a darker green. They have them flipped for their Classified looks. You can't just switch heads either, since their helmets are the wrong color. I'm not a RAH purist, but this is just an odd mistake/choice. The one distinguishing feature to Steeler, other than his visor, was his color. It's not a deal breaker but it is irksome.
