I still have it. It still looks okay on my Defenders shelf. Still, I would buy an upgrade if they made one, but it's not as big a priority with me as Red Guardian II or classic Son of Satan.

Totally cool you're good with her, but I can't stand that figure. I didn't even like it when it first came out. Still, she is on my Defenders shelf because she's integral to them, imo. If they redid her, I'd have to buy 2. One for the Defenders shelf and one for the Asgardian's one.
 
Yeah, those early Hasbro Legends were lacking, no question about it.

You know, I may take the Golden Age Bucky and the Pym Yellowjacket with me to SDCC this year. I don't think Dwight and Dan were there in those days so they probably won't be able to answer, but I would love to know what Hasbro was thinking. Did they really think the fans who had been supporting Legends all those years were going to be happy with all that mediocrity?

It's a good thing that Mattel was firing on all cylinders with DC Universe Classics, other wise Hasbro may never gave gotten their shit together. And I am so glad they did.
 
I lucked out and got an excellent Bucky from either a summer swap or secret santa, but I'd love an official one.

If/When Hasbro makes an upgraded classic Valkyrie, I hope they remember that she's supposed to able to ride a horse.

I know we keep beating the drum on horses around here, but there is a reason for that. This is Valkyrie. Aragorn should be part of the deal.
 
If memory serves, we've gotten comic Valkyrie twice and MCU Valkyrie 3 different times. I'm sure that I'd buy an updated comic version if it were to be made, but would always prefer a character that has never been made before. There's no shortage of options. I'll just personally never put a re-do or update on any of my lists - unless it's specifically a list for updates and re-do's. But everyone has their own different wants and desires. That's just my own philosophy on it.

I had sold off my two-pack Valkyrie years ago thinking I would be okay with the Hulkbuster version, but that one has it’s own set of issues (too tall, oversized head, boring costume, etc.). I ended up picking up another two-pack Valkyrie on eBay last year, because I’ve just about given up on Hasbro in terms of their character selection. I’m about to do the same with Yellowjacket.

Funny anecdote. Two of my earliest comics as a kid were Avengers No 137 and Defenders No 23, so my first introduction to Beast was as an Avenger, and my first introduction to Yellowjacket was as a Defender.

MULTI-PACK: The Wrecking Crew

I also find the lack of Hulk on these wish-lists surprising. I'm still disappointed at how badly Hasbro fumbled the Maximum Hulk figure with the ugly alternate heads and how the chest cracks and breaks. To me, the last truly good Hulk figure we got from Hasbro was the two-pack version with first appearance Wolverine.
 
I can’t believe we all forgot the Red Rajah. Or maybe that was intentional. Either way, I may have to update my villains list!
