Yeah, I'm excited for him. Despite thinking the movie looks like it was done by the GOTG production designers, I'm into this version of Kara, and VEHEMENTLY there for Lobo.
 
Hard to tell, but the 1980's soundtrack seemed like "A James Gunn Joint" overlaid on what could have been a Snyderverse grim fest of "real and gritty/miserable characters in a monochrome world" - at least to me.

Note that I haven't read the source they are basing this on so I don't have the context. Interesting that is appears we will be seeing Krypton, and the idea that it took awhile for Krypton to die off is interesting.
 
I’m hoping, as seems likely given the villain of Man of Tomorrow, that part of “Krypton didn’t die all at once” involves Kandor. Not sure if the city we saw being separated was Kandor or Argo, but I’d love to see the seeds of the Collector of Worlds being planted.

Brainiac is coming.

I need to watch the trailer again, but it really looked like a city was being “sucked off” the planet in a dome of some kind.

. . . which could also be Argo City.

And while I don’t need another film solely focused on Zod, I *do* like the backstory that Kandor’s abduction drove Zod to being the fascist psychopath he became, and also that Brainiac is, ultimately, the destructor of Krypton.

No that’s GOOD! Because you can start watching the show Ghosts IMMEDIATELY and I’m jealous because you get to experience all the amazingness for the first time!

Seriously: take the word of a professional “clown” and go watch Ghosts. It’s *brilliant* long-form comedy-character work, essentially an excuse to get a wild variety of character “types” in one room and let them cook. It’s easily the most talented ensemble comedy cast I have ever had the pleasure to watch.
 
It looks fine enough. Two parts made me go "Ugh"

Krypto peeing on Clark and the line "My cousin sees the good in people, I see the truth"

just,whatever, im sure the movie will make her realize she's being a dumb asshole, but it sucks for me that Tom Kings version is gonna become the popular one when he just took Supergirl and shoved her in a Power Girl story.
