Diamond Emma is a nice touch. Fun variant and way better than the previous TRU exclusive. Those Sentinel repaints are... interesting. I don't need them since they are video game only... but there's something appealing. I have to decide if I pull the trigger.. hmmm

Holy heck, that entire wave is great. The omly one I might skip is 2099 = this wave is an entire home run. And hardly any low effort repaints. Really jazzed.

BBTS just announced a new pre-Halloween drop. Some skeletons (using the Fwooshtoys Skeleton mold) and a re-release of translucent red Dracula. They picture one skeleton in a red robe holding a machine gun, similar to the classic Marvel GI Joe cover. I'm all skeletoned out.... but maybe nice...

So, while I wasn't dying for the inclusion of the Crystar cast in Legends I have been dying for MU canon toy characters Rom and Micronauts - We got Rom checked off the list. The inclusion of Crystar and friends makes me optimistic Micronauts could happen.

What it boils down to for me is this. With the baf model as it is - you can still get the figure you want, either by buying the figures you don't want to build the baf, by buying the baf part loose on the secondary market, buying the completed baf on the secondary market or waiting for them...

Strong disagree from me on that. I understand the position but since I like the obscure characters I honestly don't care that some of you feel 'held hostage' by the baf model when I know the BaF model is the only reason those figures exist. Without a baf concept I don't get to have many...

You do understand the entire point of the Build-a-Figure model is to get you to buy figures you might otherwise pass on, right? Warbow is the epitome of the kind of figure the BaF model was designed to sell. Wolverine always sells thats why he doesn't get a BaF piece. He doesn't need it...

Who knows... the figures are at least a year away. But I can give them the benefit of the doubt. McFarlane still has a ton of annoying issues five years in so its likely Mattel's line won't be perfect either.
