Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

He's listed as skeleton thief Rix — maybe he steals bones for himself or his pals? (It would explain the colors a bit, except it's too symmetrical.)

If they really want a big boost, they should just add the skeleton legion builder 2 as a tier, either off-white or standard bone color. They'd get me for a few.

Naked skeletons are the best skeletons.

Can't say this new figure moves the needle for me. Perhaps the undead are similar to ghosts in that they do what's familiar to them from their pre-deceased life. So perhaps this skeleton suffers from a kleptomania compulsion. I'd imagine that's like being a scary undead hamster or a squirrel.

Folks seem to be selling the ML black panther head and tail for not too much on eBay,
He was part of a head pack that's still up on their site so I bet he's easy to get. Fair warning, if you buy one just make sure the body you plan on putting him on has a hole for the tail - not all of their bucks have one. (Armoury Knights do... orcs do not, and I got an orc body specifically for him that didn't work :/)
Better question is what does a skeleton need with items and money that it feels it has to steal? But that is a more of a philosophical question as to the needs and wants of the undead in skeleton form I suppose.
To be fair, one of my favorite figures of theirs recently is a skeleton running a thieves' / assassins' guild and I kind love it. If all their figure had that much flavor I'd pick on their story stuff less. Cracks me up, the idea of a psychotic skeleton with money problems.
Capitalism is hard on everyone.
Our campaign might be the only one I've ever run where capitalism wasn't explicitly the BBEG.

I gather there is more of place for these type of comments in the GI Joe section.

Thanks! I was wondering why I couldn't find a full figure of the character, just the head/tail...

If my comments offended any of the skeleton undead, or their family and friends, that was not my intent. I fully respect the life choices of the skeleton undead, and understand my comments may have caused pain and suffering to their kind.

Wow.... 'life choices' of the undead? Really? Of all the places on the Internet, here is not where I expected such ableist, privileged language. In fact, it felt a little targeted, if I'm being honest.

So went down that rabbit hole and I can't convince myself that a feline species would wear that much metal armor. Kind of defeats the purpose of being a stealth predator with ninja skills? I do think the outfit they have in the Kickstarter with the cloak seems more feline.

I'd respond to this but have to be nice to you until you send me Throg. But frankly I am a little tired of seeing the undead so openly out and about anymore - just because perverts like @GrumpyMatt are into that stuff doesn't mean I should be exposed to it.

Nah, skeleton thieves are objectively silly. I just happen to like one particularly objectively silly character. I didn't even think I'd like that character, but once I had him in hand I was like "this is ridicuious and I'm into it."

Yeah, I bought one of their... cave orcs? The black variant orcs that I thought would match the head and tail to pop those pieces onto and the fuckin' orcs don't have a tail peg. I ended up using black leather armoury knight buck because I agree, I do't see a catfolk walking around in full plate. Ie looks nice, if the head is just a tad too lose.

Can't believe there's still 23 days left in the kickstarter. I popped on thinking it was in its last week or something and was going to debate what combo of figures I'll get. I'm in for some combination of cleric, druid, and rogue, but I'm not sure how I want to do the alternate parts add-ons yet so I'm delaying.

Another week with no coverage on any of my TTRPG industry regular listens. I honestly wonder if they just didn't do any marketing to that part of the industry.

In fairness... what would they report on? Like you said before - it's vapour. There's no -product- here for TTRPG people to talk about. It's a mocked-up book cover in a glass case.

Not for nothing, but the few times I mentioned Mythic Legions just in the context of possibilities for customizing your own OC at the game store or some tables I've played, everyone is just really indifferent and would rather have a miniature or even a LEGO man.

It's always fun seeing those hurdles when you'd expect an easy crossover.

Honestly, for coverage, "action figures for D&D" has gotten coverage on the shows I listen to like when NECA or Hasbro releases something, usually jokingly asking "are you gonna buy that?" Mastering Dungeons will give two minutes to a D&D clothing line and are always joking about D&D Bologna and how it briefly actually existed. To not even get a "hey, popular action figure line is doing a D&D game" mention on any of the industry news shows means NOBODY is talking about it in the industry.

Although these same shows cover every time Joe Mangiello has coffee with Weis and Hickman and made no mention of his D&D character getting an action figure, either.
