Third Party Figures

I decided the Fury blanks were too big and didn't suit my purposes after reviews and handling one. Happy to eat the deposit at 5K. However.

I did notice that even though the final deadline was March 7th, a couple days ago two of the editions are already sold out. I just thought that was interesting considering it's still within the second payment and I'm still not settled up.

I'm not missing anything, but I guess I'll be quicker on the draw when I actually do want something.

Unless she has really strong core and back muscles she is going to look pretty pathetic flying.
TBF with that wingspan she's not getting off the ground using classical aerodynamics either way.

This follows the trend of 1/6 figures. I have no actual numbers to back this up, but I thought for years, the number of new female third party 1/6 females greatly out number male figures. I'm not including licensed figures like Hot Toys, which is about 90% Disney at this point.

I have a Fury blank in transit from 5K. Women with horns on their head is usually a no, unless it's a helmet.

I'm more likely to sample a figure from a new IP if it's a female. Savage Crucible was one of the rare recent exceptions.
I also think all of the cool unique 3rd party characters these companies make are mostly female.

I assume that’s what sells, but most of the male characters made by 3rd parties are knock offs of an existing character

I was scrolling through the new 1/6 products section on another board and this was posted today. Cassia the Purple Blooded Enchantress. She's also described as a succubus and has lower back wings.

And she has horns on her head 😱

Why does she have wings on her arse? Nothing has wings on their arse!
C'mon man, it's well-known that the growth of a succubus's hair pushes its wings progressively down its spine, to preserve articulation. Particularly well-tressed succubi have been known to grow wings from their calves.

And then Namor shaves himself down for swimming.
