For me it's the other half of the myth, but you're right. He's so far up his ass, he would excise the consequences from on high part.

I wish that just once when he does shit like this someone present would call him out and pushback against his bullying. Like most bullies, he probably wouldn’t know what to do and stand there like a jackass or call for secret service like a coward.

It's worth keeping in mind that some people postulate that Prometheus should be seen as a Christ-like figure, in the sense that he did the RIGHT thing and suffers for it. I'm quite certain that's the reading someone like Bezos gives the myth.
 
Massively surprising that the political party that told you grandma should die for the economy during Covid crisis they created are now saying during the economic crisis they created that the grandmas that survived shouldn't get presents.
