Top Ten Talk & Campaigning (for Official Top 10 & Wishlist Threads)

A few things I really, really want I decided not to include because they are too unlikely - more civilians like Aunt May, Jarvis, Foggy, Robbie Robertson; the Marvel owned Micronauts; a horse/winged horse; and the Fantasticar and Hellcharger.

I wanted to add some New Mutants but they've just screwed that up so badly with the Walgreens ladies not matching the X-Men 97 Roberto not matching (I suspect) the new Magik that they need to start from scratch. They really need to get their act together and do a true first class New Mutants box and a true original X-Factor first or second look box instead of a little of this and a little of that. I feel like they could put out a box set of X-Teams from different eras every year and it would sell.

So I focused on Thor, FF and DD as they seem to get less action in the line compared to the Avengers and Mutants. But did have a few mutants we need to complete teams (Mastermind, Leland, Talisman and of course Kitty in her training uniform).

It'll be interesting to see if the final characters are the same characters that topped all of the polls that we've been doing since September.

I'm always going to vote for the characters I want the most.
Yeah, I get that - to be clear I (like most I suspect) have at least 20 characters that are legit top-10 contenders. So even though I think Aunt May is probably a top-10 character not yet made, she won't get the votes, so I'll go for someone like Diablo who has maybe a better chance?

Anything to avoid background Avenger for 3 issues or Iron Man version 92 getting into the top 10... 😅

Having a tough time deciding how to deal with Valkyrie (classic) and Aragorn.

I see V making a lot of lists on her own, and I could keep her as a single, but if I place Aragorn in the oversize category, would it make sense to include her there as part of a Legendary Rider set, allowing for another opening in my top ten?

Or should I keep them separate and improve their chances of getting both in their categories?

Maybe I just answered my own question.

Hey everyone!

Don't forget the Oversize category!
1 Oversize entry: Legendary Rider, Made-To-Order, HasLab figure(s), vehicle, playset, prop, throne.
I noticed there is no Maximum category. Should that be placed in the BAF/deluxe slot?

I was a little selfish and maybe foolhardy with suggesting a Serpent Society boxed set, but I feel like that could be a lot of fun like the Alpha Flight set. I had considered the Reavers instead but realized we're missing fewer of them than serpents.

Captain Ultra
Firebird
Mantra (Eden Blake)
Lord Pumpkin
Prototype (Jimmy Ruiz)
Sludge
Mr. Immortal
Deadly Nightshade (original look)
Darkoth
Arena

BAF Atlas
DELUXE: NM-E
Box Set: Ultraforce (Prime, Hardcase, Ghoul, Contrary, Topaz, Prototype)
Thumbs up to Darkoth. Just missed my list. Would make a really cool figure.

The Valkyrie dilemma:
Keep in mind that if a character gets multiple votes in different categories, the category that gets the most votes is where all of these votes will go.
Case in point: traditionally M'Baku, Attuma and formerly Skurge always get multiple votes in both the standard size category and the BAF/Deluxe category. The votes are combined into the category that got the most votes. No votes lost.
As for where do Maximum votes go, same thing. Place the vote(s) where you think is best. The votes will follow the character.
The only exceptions are:
Boxsets. Boxsets are counted as a whole. The characters are not broken apart and placed into individual categories.
Comic is counted separately from Cinematic. These votes are not combined.

On a similar note, how are you handling all of the votes that aren't for Kylun? Do those just get automatically converted to Kylun votes or is it based on like a percentage of non-Kylun votes become Kylun votes? Asking for a friend.
