Ashley, Luis, and Krauser are all practically different characters from their original counterparts, for better and for worse. Same goes for Carlos.

I'm just praying any of these companies make figures based on the original RE timeline, or at least just RE1 remake. Couldn't care less about anything Capcom's been doing recently.
 
Hill I will not die but rather kill on: while there are multiple issues with some aspects of the REmakes, nu Clair, Jill and Carlos are so immeasurably better than their original versions as to make me question the sanity of anyone who disputes it. That bit where Claire coolly tells Jeanette to go to Sherry 'cause "I've got this" was some of the most badass shit I've seen any character pull off in the last decade. That girl did not give a fuck who or what you were, be it dogs, zombies, a police chief, a Tyrant, or a hulking mass of nightmarish viral terror, she was gonna light you up regardless.
 
I'd get it if you only said Carlos, I prefer OG him in most other aspects, though he's better written in the remake overall. Most other characters are either just too bland or missing the point in the remakes for my tastes.

Just a note for the vibe here: My favorites in the series are 0, Code Veronica X, Dead Aim, and 4D-Executer.

I've canceled three versions of Kusanagi in this outfit before their preorders shipped. The Pop Up Parade statue, Hiya, and Playmatea. Hiya took so long, I'm pretty sure I canceled it twice 😆.

Same, I'm not really happy with any of the ones out there. They've all got something off about them.
 
As a note, the guys on the Plamatea and Plamax Motoko figures are the ones who sculpt and engineer all the actually good Figma figures. Plamatea is about 1/12, Plamax varies but tends to be whatever scale suits the overall package the best. The latter is more of an artsy model kit line for guys who get boners seeing splindly little parts that would explode with the slightest of wrong moments and getting stabbed by the parts constantly.
 
Only thing I don't like with the model kit is the articulated hair, but.its not a deterrent.

I like that 1/20 set, if only for more crap to clutter my desk with.
