Brotoys has been ridiculously hard to find aftermarket at what I would call reasonable, and my reasonable is most of y'alls "WTF", so I wouldn't wait.

Now let me tell you my 5K story. While placing my order for this earlier, I noticed they had an in stock on the Mithril Toys Not Sylvanas Queen of the Moon. I pre-ordered that May 26th 2025.

Apparently it came in stock and ready to go May 2nd with the window ending the 10th. Today is the 7th. I don't have any notification on this. They've already sold out on items I pre-ordered earlier this year, were they going to let this one go too?

I used to vouch for them a lot, but they're definitely dropping the ball on my account, and all I do is give them a lot of my budget. I ended up placing the rest of the deposit as you're supposed to, and stuck the original order number with the date in the notations.

Will keep you posted, if only because I don't want anyone else getting screwed over.

I STILL have 2 outstanding preorders with them that I made last year that had come in stock & sold out, WITHOUT getting any kind of email about the second payment. The email I use for them doesn't get much spam, so I know the emails didn't go there.

I'm not on social media enough to catch when they post that items are in stock, but I shouldn't have to when the agreement with the preorder deposit is that they'll let me know when I need to pay them the remainder of the cost, so I can get the item I ordered.

Adding thanks for the heads up on 5K emails and such. I placed my first order with them a few months back with the not-Vampire Hunter D figure (by eggtoys who I know nothing about, hope it's doesn't end up being a stinker!). Will definitely be keeping an eye this, I need a dhampir on my shelf.

I like snail shell but passed on garu, reviews did not excite me that much.
