This felt like an appropriate way to start off my collecting thread, because I'm crazy excited about this. One of my favorite martial arts movie stars, Yukari Ōshima, was at a retrospective event in the U.K. a couple weeks ago with Eastern Heroes, a martial arts merch store/magazine/film screening group. I managed to preorder one of the signed and personalized copies of her issue and it just came in today. Let the record show that she considers me worth two exclamation points, thank you very much.

I went to Anri's show in Brooklyn last night! Incredible concert, legitimately one of the best I've ever been to.

I ended up getting the VIP ticket because it came with a signed poster and that's the kind of thing I'd actually regret not getting. But it apparently also meant early building access, which meant being at the merch table before stuff sold out (and stuff sold out) and being able to find a spot near the stage. The Paramount was sold out and absolutely packed.
