I wound up getting an extra set of the 2003 TMNT, Kull, Conan, and LED Lion-O. All of them already arrived. Only opened Lion-O so far. He is indeed the same body as the deluxe figure but comes with more stuff and the neck peg lights up through two heads with translucent yellow eyes. The effect is really cool but the light shines a bit at the bottom of his head. Also, the heads still sit oddly low. But the paints are better than the deluxe. Was about $45, which I feel much better about than the full price of $65.

there is no way they are convincing me to spend $65 for what amounts to a new head with a crown and a cape.

Not sure how you're going to recreate that 6-minute segment at the end of one episode in Season 1, but you do you, I guess.

So in case there are other sickos out there like me who like the Deluxe figures for custom fodder... Deluxe Tygra is down to $21.99 on Amazon Cheetarah at $22.99 and Monkian is $23.99.

Pretty good price for these if you've been holding out or whatever.

This guy came in the other day.
Pretty good for the sale price. Has MUCH better upper torso crunch than ANY other S7 figure I own.
