Super 7 TMNT figures

Like everything else Super7 does -- that is a figure designed to look cool in a package. I don't even believe for a moment that much thought was given to what it looks like OUT of the package, let alone using its accessories or posing for a display.

How low can they go? Black Friday is still a few weeks away.

So are these figures worth buying even at this reduced cost?

Like, someone who has them: are these good figures? I don’t want a caveat like “yeah… for Super7” or “I paid full price because I wanted 2k3 Turts and would have felt even better at this cost” or “They come with more pieces than your standard Marvel Legend and those are $25 so the value is there at this price!’ just straight up: “These figures OR $100, which would you rather be holding in your hand right now?”

Probably the $100. The only reason to get these (and I do have them, paid full price) is if you really like the 2003 design. It’s not likely to be repeated anytime soon by someone else as Viacom earmarked Super7 for it as they’ve made it a point to divvy up the different looks among toy companies. As actual toys, they look fine apart from Raph’s sai being comically small. They’re not fun to handle though and a lot of the parts on the body are soft and easily scratched/gouged with basic posing. And aside from Mikey, the accessories are pretty worthless and hardly what anyone would consider “ultimate.” They’re not junk or outright bad like some Super7 products, but they’re not going to “wow” anyone. Most people who get them will probably conclude “they’re fine,” and then just set them somewhere and that will be that.

^^^^ Quite literally how I felt about them. *Especially* paying for them at full price. I went "Oh. Okay", and put them on a shelf--out of the way.

They are certainly not like the JoyToy Turtles that I pick up and repose at least once a week.

I got them the last time they were on sale on Amazon for around $35-45. I just rebought them at the lower sale prices and will return the higher priced ones.

I like them. Had to heat the hip joints, but after that, they’ve been fine on my desk. They are definitely minimal in what they include. But solid representations of these designs. And at this point, I’ve collected just about every iteration of the four, so why not these?
