One A Day 2.0 Day #420 - Mary Jane Watson

Zero idea who this is. Pass.
She’s a mutant. You a tell, because the only defining characteristic in her outfit is the letter ‘X’, like about 50 million other mutant characters who also don’t have identity defining costumes. Creative laziness at it’s finest.
Pass.

Day #419 Guest Starring @Chooch555 - Earth Force
Many thanks to @Chooch555 for supplying the bulk of the pictures!

Would I buy? Yes!
Which version? Classic

These are they types of characters that are just so random but would look so cool on a shelf.

I would LOVE either 3-pack of these characters all at normal size, or Skyhawk and Wind Warrior in a BaF wave where Earth-Lord was the BaF. Regardless, hell yes I'd buy them.

One of the things that makes these guys cool is that Ron Frenz created them back in art school, and he and Tom DeFalco put the polish to them once they were scheduled to appear in Thor.

Y’know, I like concept art better than the final product. Those version would’ve really cool to get. Either version is welcome though. EF had a significant showing in the Thor poll, and if that’s any indication, they might just do well.

100 % yes to classic Earth Force. They're empowered by Egyptian/Heliopolis gods. If you think about it, it's kind of amazing how little representation there is in Legends of any mythology other than Norse. That includes Egyptian mythology. They haven't even done the Living Mummy yet.

One of the best things about Marvel is pretty much the incorporation of every mythology/belief system as being real, yet you don't see it in Marvel Legends to date. Maybe a wave of mythology-related Marvel characters: updated Hercules, Venus/Aphrodite (Marvel's first heroine with her own series), Balder, Heimdall, Red Wolf & Lobo (empowered by a Native American god), updated Valkyrie, a "villainous" god (updated Loki, Pluto or Seth), Leir (Celtic god) with Zeus as a BAF.

The big-budget movie based on The Odyssey is coming out soon. The Percy Jackson show has a third season due later this year. Maybe the timing is right for the much-requested missing Asgardians mentioned above as well as some Marvel mythological characters from other pantheons.
