One A Day 2.0 Day #418 - Blindfold

I feel like we have most era's of Thor, so that's why I didn't include him.
..Do we have GOOD Thors that are going to hold up for any current-gen figures Hasbro puts out of other Asgardians? Even Classic Thor I'm not sure I'd be comfortable saying that about. Herald Thor is a solid release. Max Thor is a solid release. How was that Thor that came with Destroyer? I never did get that set.

The Thor with Destroyer is Eric Masterson, though they did include a Simonson bearded Thor head, which I have on one of my Thor's. I feel the 80 anniversary still holds up fairly well. Would I like an update with pinless joints and butterfly joints. Hell yes! But he still has great shelf presense.

The only reason I wonder about 80th is the reason I got rid of mine: Those pinned legs and shitty ankles were wilting even brand new out of the package due to the weight of the cape. From the moment I bought him, he was confined to a flight stand and every time I made the mistake of changing that he would fall over. Awful figure. I hated him.

So, in my view, he does not hold up well enough for me to feel like he anchors an entire Asgardian shelf. Which means, for my money, I want stuff that goes with Max Thor, or they need to commit to a new, better classic/non-modern Thor. I wouldn't be opposed to Hasbro taking another stab at the all blue and gold 'King Thor/Lord Thor.' But I think people are gonna want a new Classic sooner than later, if I'm being honest.

I put a Rebel10 cloth cape on mine almost as soon as I got it, and that made it 100 times better.

I was unwilling to spend that kind of money to fix a figure that was already too expensive at the time it came out. Those cloth capes are amazing, but they're also expensive in Canuck Pesos.

A classic Heimdall from any of the first 5 images would be an instant purchase!

More Thor supporting characters please Hasbro. Friend or Foe. Magic or Monster. I don't care where you start. Just get started.

Yes for the Sphinx. We need more New Warriors representation on the shelf.

Heimdall would be a resounding Yes, both comic and MCU. For a line that has been going as long as this, its almost criminal that we don't have Heimdall yet.

Day #407 - Scout/Honey Badger

Would I buy? Sure, but not a priority
Which version? The jacket look in picture #2 is so unique I'd probably go for that one.

Fun, newer character.

Not well acquainted with her, but she could make for a fun figure. I like image 6 best out of these. Pack in animal a plus. Articulated if possible.

I’d grab Honey Badger. The more she looks like a kid and less like a stereotypical superhero, the better I’d like her.
