Need some glue suggestions

Hey all. So I was messing around with my custom spawn figure and it has one of those giant custom wired capes you’ve probably seen over the last 5-6 years. Unfortunately one of the wires on the right side where it attaches to the collarbone poked through the fabric. I tried resetting it by removing the cape, fixing the wire and then I had to glue it back down but im using krazy glue and it’s infuriating. This glue can be so inconsistent at times. Sometimes the adhesion is super strong but other times I feel like I’m in a losing battle trying to get something to stick. For anyone else who has run into a similar situation as mine, can you recommend any better and stronger brands of glue? I’d prefer one of the kinds of glue that you can find in any local hardware store rather than one of those bespoke or homemade pastes or glues that come in those big tins and smell vaguely of old spice. Those are too expensive and I’m not buying those.

You need to glue fabric to plastic? I never tried that. Some plastics are nearly impossible to glue, I failed many times. Some that I have tried:

Lot's of people swear by these two. I bought from Amazon. Mr. Hobby and Tamiya

I had some success with this one from Walmart. It has a felt tip applicator to rub on the parts, then you apply the glue after a minute or so. Loctite from Walmart.

I want to try this from Amazon. The UV light activates the bond.
