NECA 2012 Turtles

Every single time. Going all the way back years on the Fwoosh.
So weird. I'll never understand it. I've defended companies before, myself--where they can be defended.

But never to the level of this. Like literally, can do nothing wrong, never make mistakes, 100% perfection at all times. Like they've never fucked up before. There's loyalty, and then there's...^^^that.

That's a level of loyalty that is unhealthy and strange. Whatever.

Yeah I mean I'm a huge fan of Neca. I love and buy most of their stuff. But there is plenty of room for criticism and their customer service and shipping are definitely two areas where they can improve. Just look at all the people getting cartoon Wingnut instead of Archie Wingnut for one.
 
Love NECA they’re great. Big fan of their work, I mean, sure a few figures didn’t get released but they made my dream line of Gargoyles so how could I ever not love them!

Buuuuuuut…. Just got an email about the duplicate Turtles I was sent after two weeks of waiting: “we don’t have an update for you yet, please keep waiting”

It’s annoying as Hell having to try to keep the doubles box safe, but man… how screwed up is their system after two weeks and sending them every tracking number they sent me I can’t get a “whoops! Sorry about that! Here’s a return shipping label!”
 
Patience is a virtue as is being able to not sweat the small stuff, but this type of crap has been going on for over a year with NECA and it's pretty inexcusable. They no longer deserve any benefit of the doubt. No issues loving the product, but as a distributor they're terrible and there are people out there who absolutely do not get their stuff. It's well documented. If you order enough from them it only feels like a matter of time before something impacts you.

I ordered a set of 2012 figures that had a delivery window of Q4 2025 and I don't have any of my order yet. I'm annoyed, but not enraged and I'm not sending emails because I agreed to this delivery window by placing my order (even if I have yet to encounter someone in my exact situation) through them. It is what it is. However, if January 2026 rolls out around and I'm without my order still then I'll be raising a stink about it. I'm done with ordering stuff from them if it's not an exclusive. Even for the people who have received everything they ordered it has been anything but a convenient experience. It's like getting into a cab with a drunk driver who manages to get you to your destination eventually. Would you be satisfied because you made it safe and sound despite the ride being a harrowing one that included wrong stops and near misses? Hopefully, those Stan Sakai turtles are not such an item.

I would not wait until January to start raising a stink if I were you. I'd give it until Nov 1.
 
Where are you guys getting FedEx notices? Through email or the app? I have the app, but it has not worked properly for many months, skipping orders, reporting "new" deliveries of stuff that was delivered months ago. I haven't been getting emails, at least not from NECA. I sometimes get FedEx emails if I have a BBTS order coming or some other e-tailer. Pulse has been using FedEx fore more of my orders than DHL lately.
 
I don’t know what happened to my FedEx app. My phone self updates all applications. I’ve tried logging in and out and it’s the same broken.

look at your filters at the top. I messed around with those and mine started appearing after being blank for a while.
 
Just to see if it's the app or something else, you could also try accessing it on a desktop browser. I have an iPhone, and sometimes the app get stuck in a refreshing mode and I have to close and reopen. Also, sometimes shipments will only appear in the "All shipments" screen, though that's been better recently following an update.
 
A NECA package popped up in the FedEx app last night, but it's only 1.5lbs. I'm guessing it's the Wingnut I ordered from Walmart, but could be a solo 2012 turtle. I'll find out Saturday, Monday if it's late. Of course, none of my open orders have updated on either NECA's website or Walmart.
 
I emailed NECA CS and they gave me the standard "shipping separately, preparing remaining figures" response. They'll give me updated tracking info when they go out. Thanks "Jane".
