KS side of the KC burbs.
I love the speed of the game. I love how much variety there is in hitting, fielding, and base running there is. The players are so excited to be playing for their school and teammates.
They're in the middle of the World Series tournament and I've been watching all the games I can. If you haven't seen a game before, carve out a couple hours this weekend and catch a game or two.

The first game last night was wild. A couple of controversial calls were a downer but that TX rally was bucking fonkers! TT is trying to intentionally walk the batter but the pitcher gets too close to the strike zone and, POP, two RBIs. The pitcher that throws K after K, flips the score because they can't throw far enough outside the hitters range.

Tonight's game was almost as tense. Mia Scott made an entire highlight reel in one inning. I started to sweat that TX was going to come back. Canady started to fade in the 7th but finished the game.
Tomorrow night is going to be exciting!

Game 3 wasn't as exciting as the first two, but it was still an entertaining 2½ hours. Canady was a machine in the first two games but trying to throw a third game in three days is too much. Mia Scott can expect to begin receiving my marriage proposals next week. I'm sure my wife will understand.
