Kermit's hat came from Indiana Jones Adventures Toht. I painted it gray and added a black pinstripe around the rim. I didn't realize the hat was crooked when I took the below picture, it of course looks better when it is on straight.

I was pretty sure it came with one of the Palisades Muppets figures, since it was in my bag of accessories for this line, but I just looked through the Wiki and I can’t find it. There are a lot microphones in this line (like the one that comes with Johnny Fiama or the one that comes with Clifford or the one that actually comes with Reporter Kermit), but I’m not sure about this specific microphone that has its own unique shape.

I wonder if any of the DST prototypes will go up for sale? It would be such a shame if they were all just thrown away. It's such a bummer all around.
In kinda good news, BFS said to keep an eye on their socials for wave 3 of their Fraggle figures. I'm hoping that means they get shown before the end of the year. Maybe NECA will put up their next Sesame Street figure before the end of the year, too. I need my Muppet figure fix!

I saw this blind box on Instagram and thought the packaging looked like DST's. It turns out Stylinboxes is also owned by Ad Populum. I guess the DST Muppets will live on in packaging design cannibalized by Ad Populum's subsidiaries.

Oh man, I hadn't even considered this. How many thousands of dollars am I willing to spend to buy hundreds of blind boxes for the small possibility one includes the likely unproduced figures? What will I do with hundreds of Animal purses?
I think the blind box has been around for a while, at least since last year. I don't know if the box design has changed for this more recent version. I'm also not familiar enough with newer Muppets merch to know if the packaging design is used widely across other companies or was unique to DST.
I think that particular branding has been used on more than the DST figures. I wouldn't count on those figures sneaking their way into these mystery boxes. I think we just have to leave the continuation of the Diamond Muppets line in the grave.
It states that each themed box has the same contents - so if you buy two you will get the same thing in both. Not sure if 6 months from now the content will change, but they aren't that random it seems.
