He's not my favourite look (was this even a comic look or exclusively Mattel?) but it does look nice with the other retro Widow and Secret Wars. It just feels 80s.

I like DD more than the Mafex now that I've put the time in.

The Legends version is taking an absolute beating in the paint department, but I agree that it has better proportions. I feel the same way about Maximum Spider-Man vs. the MAFEX Spider-Men.

I just wish Hasbro would let me buy Daredevil and Spider-Man upgrades in colors I like.

I can't wait for more repaints. Give me a Maleev era one.

Fuck yeah. Maleev and Samnee are the Daredevils I picture when I close my eyes.

It's unique to the old toy. And that's fine for this wave... and we got a nice new Daredevil body out of it. I think more than a few people are now clamoring for the inevitable release that is more comic specific.

I love my "Secret Wars" Daredevil and Falcon figures. It's really nice to have a sold-separately Daredevil figure after all of the two-pack and three-pack released that a comic Daredevil figure has been stuck with over the years. I prefer to think of my Daredevil as the Stan's Costume Shop version from "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends", from the "Spider-Man Unmasked" episode with Sandman. All his TV counterpart needs is the belt and he'd be an exact match!

I'm still waiting on a classic Doctor Doom on the Mattel Retro box art, but the upcoming figure is nice. I just wish they'd finally give us a classic, comic accurate head sculpt/helmet for Doctor Doom. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed we'll see Volcana, the Wrecking Crew, Thor, the Hulk on a body mold where the chest doesn't crack and improved alternate heads, Wasp, the Lizard, Doc Ock with bendy wire tentacles, classic red-and-blue suit Spider-Man on the AF15 body, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Storm, Rogue, She-Hulk, Spider-Woman, Klaw, Molecule Man and Zsaji. Baron Zemo, Hobgoblin and Electro would be welcome additions too. And of course, we need a new Gene Colan Count Dracula for @AceofKnaves.
