I tried to preorder both Miss Martian and Bloodwynd in store. The young woman working there and her manager both told me that neither figure was available for preorder, nor could they get intra-store transfers.

However, for full transparency, this was not a store that carries a lot of collectables outside of Magic and Pokémon cards. I haven’t tried any other locations. Yet.
 
I've been filling in a ton of gaps on this line lately and very much need a classic blue Sinestro, ANY comic Ivy at this point and an updated Catwoman. So all of these Batmen aren't helping!!

I know they are all rumored but this is an entire wave with nothing for me.

I swapped the new Page Punchers Robin head onto the main green/red comic Robin and it looks better but not great. Probably gonna switch back. But this Red Robin on this buck feels way too large.

Returned movie Lobo and Krem - bought them on impulse but realized I have zero use for them. Since Todd really doesn't seem to be filling the gaps of 2025 Guy and Hawkgirl in the 7" line, why bother with anyone more than Supes, Lex and the Mr. Terrific I can't give away? And trenchcoat Supergirl.

Tempted to see if I can repaint Terrific into Guy and just sell it headless for what I paid on Ebay. :)
 
I agree that what's been shown from this wave does absolutely nothing for me. The last thing that I need is another Batman, so I'll pass on all of these. This would have been the perfect wave for Batman Day in the fall.... but of course there will be plenty more Batmen to go around, I'm sure.
 
That Azrael looks like the one we should have gotten in the first place. I will happily sell off the improperly colored one for this.

Passing on the other figures but that black/grey Batman does look cool, despite not being accurate to anything I can remember.

Just went through 83 McFarlane figures and accessories to sell. Light blue Azrael will make 84. My goodness, I am going to be more strict about my purchases in the future. Shout out to Todd for tanking the value on Wonder Woman right before I sold it, but I’m glad that everyone is able to get her now.

Very cathartic to get rid of the ‘I bought this because it was moderately cool’ stuff and get back to the figures I really love, like that Breyfogle Zsasz or Shriek. Lots of space cleared for future DC figures.
 
Going through all of my "extras" for a toy show over the weekend, I discovered that I still had a second canopy set from Ramen Toy for the 89 Batmobile. I wonder if that would still fit on the new Batmissile :unsure:
 
Got Hellboy today. Honestly I’m a bit disappointed with the scale. I was hoping for something more proportional to DCM.

However, that doesn’t stop him from being magnificent. It’s a shame Todd hasn’t been doing this for indie comic characters for the last 30 years.

Bloodwynd also showed up today and he’s just a slice of 90’s fantastic. Can’t wait for Aztek now.

I always get soooo sweaty when I'm wearing mine.
Plus, (not like you want to know, but...) I get quite gassy, so they usually look a little puffy from the trapped farticle pressure.

EDIT- I'm sorry; I should probably take my gassy ass back to the Marvel board.

I found Page Punchers Dick Grayson Robin at a GameStop today and picked him up. excellent looking figure, just maybe a bit too tall. Also, it looks like Bronze Tiger is processing at BBTS, so he should ship soon.

I think tomorrow out of all the Batman's I'm just going after the New 52 Batman. I don't need the Deadman version, and I don't need another AzBat just for a cloth cape. And the DKR version looks cool, but again, the versions I have are good enough.
 
GameStop came through! I picked up my Miss Martian preorder today! And then I found Captain Marvel/Shazam at the Target next door. I left gangbuster and black condor, as I’m not too attached to them and I have spent a lot of money on McFarlane stuff in the last two weeks.
Also, my wife picked me up an extra classic Supergirl and trenchcoat movie Supergirl, so I can try the hair swap I saw someone do with the variant Classic version and the movie version. Looked pretty good!
Edit: I’ve been informed that the hair from the Trenchcoat version doesn’t swap. So I’ll need to return one of those and get a deluxe version or another standard one. I might go for the deluxe this time for the cloth cape and since I have an extra faceplate from the regular version.

That Dark Knight returns looks fantastic, but it's still a pass as I have a 6" one. At least that's an "Elseworlds" version I can get behind. I hate it when things like Batman/Deadman come out. So not am standout "one shot version" that needs plastic IMO. So many better uses for that slot to my mind. YMMV.
