McFarlane DC Multiverse

The aftermarket is already starting to implode it feels like for McF DC - seen lots of Ivys, WWs, rare stuff hitting the interwebs. People getting ahead of rumored new releases but also the items feel like they are lingering.
 
Well it is the last gasp of the 7” scale superhero figures for a while. Sounds like Mattel is gonna be somewhere in the range of Marvel Legends, DCUC, and Mattel DCM from 2018-19. Beyond that, we also don’t know if Todd’s gonna pivot back to Spawn, or take on more Image Comics characters after the Image Founders series. Hellboy looks to be a one-off, and Geiger is a tease at this point.
 
That's one more than I'm getting.

It's insane looking at these price hikes in just a few short years. Part of the draw of Todd's vehicles where the double whammy of a vehicle in (passable) 7" scale for a low price. I remember every other post I made saying, "See, Hasbro, you can make these affordable without crowd funding". Man, times have changed.
 
I was hoping for $60 for the Batmissile, but I guess $100 fits right in when the figures to go inside it are $35 each. I have so much love for Returns I ordered one (even though I have the Kenner version). I really should've waited for the inevitable sale. Instant buyer's regret.
 
In other news, Todd is "opening the vault" and reissuing some figures that he purposefully made hard to get in the first place staring with Wonder Woman....with fewer accessories (I'm sure he will lower the price accordingly.......right?) I saw pics of these earlier but like everything else, I didn't know if it was real or AI, so I didn't pay much attention. I know first appearance Superman was another one.

I just jumped into this thread to be like "Is this the same WW or am I going crazy?" Thanks for confirming. I lucked out and got her the first time (one of my favorite figures from this collection, honestly.)
 
Same as everyone else, saw that Batmissile price and it’s a hard pass. I’ll happily buy it on sale, or never. My goodness the prices have gone up a crazy amount lately.
 
Good to see Vault figures available at Select retail partners. I hope that includes Gamestop. Find on Friday I guess. If so, I will quickly put $5 down for Wonder Woman-a glaring hole in my collection. Even if she winds up being something stupid -say $40-it would still beat the aftermarket prices of the original.
