Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

I spotted 2 MAA, Tri-clops and a He-Man at another Target today. I nabbed He-Man. A nearby Walmart had Trapjaw but no Skeletor.

He's got the fairly translucent cross on his harness, and thankfully his hair and face look good.

I want at least Skeletor from the movie line, and likely another BC when/if he goes on sale to try a repaint, but otherwise I'm not really looking at getting every figure.
 
Man At Arms 2 would have to be a HUGE improvement. Huge.

I'm surprised Adam isn't up sooner given how much time you see him in the movie trailers. I wonder if i can rig one up....

DOes the Hammond Collection stuff have that "Slightly taller than legends but still 6" look that the He-Man's have?

I picked up Skeletor along with He-Man, Man-at-Arms and Tri-Klops from my local comic book store last weekend as part of a 10% off salr for Gree Comic Book Day. Picked up Battle Cat from Target. Had Fisto/Ram-Man delivered from Amazon. I have not seen Trap-Jaw anywhere yet and he's sold out on BBTS. Pre-ordered Beast-Man, Evil-Lyn and Teela from BBTS though.

Found Scareglow at Target and received King Grayskull from Mattel Creations.

I'll be looking for Trap-Jaw this weekend based upon Salem Crowds comment above.
 
I'm remaining strong.

But if this lady pops up as a figure, I'm f*#ked.

Oooh, so he is showing up in stores after all? I'll have to be on the lookout. I know he's on the site, but that doesn't always translate to what'll be in stores.

I did discover that, at least at my nearby Targets, they seemingly have the same UPC for the entire wave. Went to a couple stores the other day that said they had X amount of one figure in stock, but when I went to the store, the number they had on the site was actually all the figures at the store. For instance, one said they had 3 He-Mans, but when I went, it was 1 He-Man, 1 MAA, and 1 Tri-Klops. Don't know if anyone else has/will have that issue, but something to maybe be aware of, so hopes don't get too high.
 
It sounds like a Chronicles Clawful is coming to go with King Grayskull and Scareglow. No pics or info yet, but Toy habits is reporting it. They have a very good track record.
 
Received my pile of loot today with the much-anticipated Skeletor. Took him out of the package, and you could see the left wrist peg was assemble funny and jutting out farther than it should have been. It broke as I messed with it. Definitely some kind of defect.

He's great otherwise!

I haven't checked yet but I'm wondering if a Masterverse wrist peg would be an adequate replacement. I'll probably just keep my eyes open for a Skeletor locally rather than deal with BBTS about it.

My Skeletor broke the same way. I think its a weird design issue; the arm is almost too small for the ball wrist. It means the ball comes out with the hand joint. I'm hoping I can get a second, and Ill use the spare off the one I have and just make sure the hand and ball itself are sap out pieces.
 
I actually popped the ball joint out on my Skeletor as well, but it didn't break and I was able to pop it back in without issue. Definitely a design flaw in that one figure though.
 
I just swapped right grip hand to the right snarling hand on Skeletor and the ball popped out of the forearm. Careful out there everyone!
