Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

Nice! Do you like both? I think those 2 figures are two of the best figures in the entire line personally. The Kobra Khan is so good that when I got it, I immediately got excited thinking of what New Eternia Tung Lashor and Rattlor would look like. And all the Snake Men really.

I do!
I passed on the previous Hordaks and I'm glad that I waited. Can't complain about this guy at all.
And Kobra Khan is really nice. I had the original, and I remember constantly using his "misting" action to annoy pretty much everyone I could.
I realize that figure didn't have the cobra hood, but I'm definitely displaying this one with it. I like the look.

I think my Masterverse of the year (not counting Panthor because he's different) is still probably Terror Claws Skeletor. Maybe AE He-Man if I can get him before the year closes out, we'll see. It would be Skelcon if he came on a better body/had vertical wrists.

TC Skeletor still gets picked up off the shelf like a precious baby and posed on the regular.

EDIT: Oh here I am talking about old BULLSHIT when there's pictures of new toys to talk about! Despara looks okay, that marbled plastic armor looks terrible though. Her sculpt is just overall too soft, and those tube arms aren't helping. I'll likely still buy her. Keldor looks fine, but pretty boring. I see he's looking up just like Teela! Dragstor looks great, but how does this guy drive on just his hands and chest? No wheels on his lower legs? Whatever, he looks fun. Overall not a terribly-exciting wave, actually kind of boring as far as this line goes.

I'm afraid I don't get the universal love for AE He-Man. Don't get me wrong, he's cool as sin. But like...figure of the year? Not sure I get it.

He's got THREE swords! And it's He-Man but painted black, which just makes him better.

But really, he just looks cool, he's on the newer, better body, he has a shield with a strap instead of a stupid peg, three swords that he can carry all at once, two different heads that are both well-made. Great metal paint job on his accessories. Just a well-done figure. I think. I've never touched one or seen one in person so we'll see.

Yeah, I’ve had him for a couple weeks now, and he is a very cool variant but easily the (relatively speaking) least-cool figure in that wave.

HA! I had Dragstor as a kid and tried to make him “drive” on concrete ONE TIME and it totally wrecked the paint and chewed up the plastic on his thighs. Why? NO WHEELS ON HIS DAMN LEGS!!!

I kinda wish they had done a little more with him, maybe made him a Mattel Creations $35 offering but give him Mattel-quality car tires, like the ones on the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, make him an actual figure that can drive like a car and be fun both ways.

Do the tires on this Dragstor actually spin?? I'm kinda thinking they won't, but that's really worst case.

Despara might never be displayed that way. I'm all in for Adora though.

This might be my least favorite interpretation of Keldor I've seen. The white and green really seem like left field choices.

Dragster is a tough sell for me. The central tire maybe spins, baybe not. Im almost positive he wont be able to look forward to see where he's going. And he's just kind of.... dumb.
Despara is incredible, and I can't wait. I may get two and treat Despara and Adora as different characters
Keldor I don't LOVE, but I do kind of like. The headsculpt as seen in the closeup pics of the packet look really good, and i like the sword design. Also he has a sheath which is nice, because MOTUM doesn't do that enough. So I dunno, I think I may get it. If nothing else i may use it for some other MOTU characters. Change the head and hands, tweak some paint and maybe I could do a decent Adam.

OK but Masterverse Dragstor vibes like one of those fucking nightmarish Wheelers from Return to Oz so this wave is two for three (along with Adora) for ones even my wife wants.

I don't think there is a single character/figure from the vintage collection I don't like. So, I'm excited for Dragstor just like I am any vintage collection character. That really got me thinking though, I love all the vintage action figures, but someone still has to be my least favorite. So, who would that be?

I can't possibly pick one. I love them all!

I'd have to say though, it probably is either Dragstor or Blast Attack. It feels so disrespectful to say. I love those two figures too, but they just probably are my least favorite.

That New Eternia Keldor is starting to grow on me. At first, I was underwhelmed by it. But now there is something I really like about it. Seeing the packaged pics, I just feel different about it. It gives off a Princely vibe making it feel even more like he is royalty and the brother of Randor.
