Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

I'm assuming we will still get Masterverse movie figures? Chronicles is Origins scale and the First Ones appears to be a kids line.

Chronicles sounds weird. They make it sound like scaled down Masterverse.

I’m waning a little on Masterverse because of articulation lately, but I do like the bigger scale.

Though highly detailed, highly articulated MOTU would probably scale well with imports so that might be ok?

But I think they need to up the articulation scheme to get me excited

Snake eyes for us Masterverse fans. I wouldn't hold your breath. It sounds like they're just throwing out a couple throwaway movie toylines. "Over 30 POA" is the exact same description Mattel gives Masterverse. So either they fucked up this release and they're not 5.5" and they're actually going to be 7.5", or they're actively cannibalizing their own line. I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing these smaller just to save a few pennies.

Could you imagine Mattel killing off Masterverse to jump to a scale that *still* doesn't match MLs? I sure could!

It's possible that Mattel wants to get going on a smaller scale and then continue it for DC toys, creating crossover possibilities (all the rage nowadays apparently)

Honestly, if they don't do Masterverse for this, I'd say that the line is kaput.
Yeah, kind of testing my limits with the desire of getting yet another he man line that doesn’t mix well with “something”

Maybe the toys will blow me away and I’ll be all in, but I’m kind of suspecting this is a no.

I already decided to skip the 200x cartoon collection.

I’m glad that I now have pretty damn big MOTU collection from Masterverse, but the flip side of that is, the collection is already pretty damn big!

So, Chronicles is a 5.5" adult collector line. So, I wonder how big the First Ones Kids Line figures are. 5.5", smaller, or maybe just very basic 6"? I would almost think the kids line would be smaller than the adult collector line, or at least the same size, just with less articulation and detail. Especially since they specify there will be playsets and vehicles in the kids line.

I would imagine we will still get Masterverse versions of the movie characters, but with these 2 movie lines, I now feel like we will get way less MOTU Movie Masterverse figures for the 2026 movie. Probably He-Man and Skeletor for sure, then maybe 2 or 3 more.

But earlier this year Mattel made it sound like the 2026 movie figures would overtake the Masterverse line for the most part. I guess they changed their minds. Which is honestly fine with me. In Masterverse I mainly just want New Eternia and Vintage looks.

But I'm not saying I wouldn't grab some Masterverse Movie figures. I'm interested in the MOTU 2026 Motion Picture lines. Bot the kids and adults. But, I need to see them first.

Except for Orange. I will get every line, scale, and style of Orange they let out.

Orange, with those Vitamin C grip hands to clutch his big Citrus staff.

So, He-Man.org reached out directly to Mattel and now all this information about the lines "The First Ones" and "Chronicles" is being reported as inaccurate, and Mattel has said to disregard all of it.

Mattel said it would be announcing its plans for movie toys for MOTU soon though.

Stopped at the local Walmart that has the mythical collector island and saw Vintage Skeletor, Anti Eternia He-Man, Mantenna and Terror Claws Skeletor.
I skipped them all. I was tempted by vintage Skeletor, but I like the one that came with the throne, so that'll do for me.

Oh, thank the Lord.
