Okay then. I'm finally starting up a customs thread to showcase my projects. To start things off, here is some simple barbershop work I just completed in the last few days.

First is Lockjaw. It still boggles my mind why the team at Hasbro failed to include a classic mustachioed snout for that good boy. As soon as I freed him from the packaging, I got to work. Nothing too involved; just some Apoxie Sculpt and paint to modify both snouts and give him a little bit more of that Inhumans alien look.

At some point I think I'm going to paint his eyes white in order to really make him look otherworldly. It will require pulling his head off and removing the eyeballs insert they engineered similar to the haslab Giant Man. I wasn't feeling that adventurous the other day.

Second is my boy, Banshee. I was reading the comments from @Justice regarding wanting sideburns on the screaming head and thought "that's not a bad idea". So, as opposed to doing a hair swap, I just added a little Apoxie Sculpt to his jawline and voilà! I really like the result!

That looks fantastic. I may consider that myself if the hair swap looks like it is going to be too much trouble.

Both of these customs make me mad because this is what Hasbro SHOULD HAVE RELEASED. These look fantastic, and I'm probably going to copy at least Banshee next time I have clay out. I don't think I could ever get the mustache so smooth - what's the trick for that?

It's images like these that really show when Hasbro chooses to get details wrong. Lockjaw was intentionally done wrong either out of incompetence or greed.

Lightly wetted fingertips when smoothing out your sculpting, and then a little piece of fine grit sandpaper once it has cured.
And regarding the inexplicable decisions made by Hasbro, often times I attribute it to incompetence.

I wouldn't call it incompetence. Maybe ignorance. Like they didn't care to do the research and instead referenced the first image that came up in Google. OR they took artistic liberty, which I'd almost prefer less, because that means they chose to do it inaccurately.

Your pieces are obvious upgrades, and I wouldn't expect anything less than professional quality from you.
