JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

That's why I like him! I don't like his '87 toon look, and I love the Crocker figure. Of everything so far released, Rahzar is actually the one that most disappoints me, and the way they did the face is a big part of it (also all the bald patches they designed into his look). I was hoping for something wolf-ier.
 
I like these new ones, but don’t love them.

Since these are just going with my Cyberzoic dinosaurs since I don’t like their riders, Leatherhead appeals to me as an Owen Grady/Robert Muldoon style Raptor trainer, do wish he had a hat though

Metalhead is a robot, so there can multiple versions and styles, this one hanging out with the NECA toon one and one or both of the Super7 toy ones hanging out with an eventual NECA 2012 and McF IDW (maybe you even have the Playmates Tales of the TMNT one or Loyal Subjects IDW one), like it’s a fun Iron Man Armory but Metalheads!

Not sure I $40+ a piece plus shipping plus tariffs love them enough to commit to either of those display options, but they are more interesting to me than the last wave
 
JoyToy has a bunch of images on their website. Metalhead looks massive in a pic with Donatello. There's also an image of Metalhead and Leatherhead flanked by a bunch of robots. One is clearly a Roadkill Rodney while others look like those little "turtle" robots from Turtles in Time and others that I can't quite place. No mention of them on JoyToy's site, but I would guess they'll be in a bundle or something at some point.

Welp! Forget what I said earlier about not being sure about these, the scale pic and the one of them fighting the robots pushed these over the top for me! I need them!

Oh well nuts...I don't know how I feel about Leatherhead even still. And the lack of a hat feels even more...apparent. I do like those bots though, guessing those are in their own pack probably? Maybe we can get some more mousers.
 
JoyToy's site has these listed for next month already. I hope we're in for another round of rapid-fire reveals/releases again now after the summer lull... Because I'm a masochist, but also because I'm a huge dork.
 
These are up on LT Cave for pre-order. Not sure I've ever noticed or seen it before, but it says "preorder deadline 25 Oct". Leatherhead is listed for October release and Metalhead for November.

I was just thinking, maybe there were no other (blank)head characters to fit the theme? :) I can't think of more offhand, but that doesn't mean anything except that I'm not that quick-witted.
 
With the shipping date so near, they may need to cut off orders quickly. Either way, I’m down for both. Price is pretty damn great.

LT Cave emailed me back pretty quickly about my missing weapon and sent me a link to fill out an online form. It mentioned a return authorization through which I didn't have to send the item back. I haven't heard anything since then though and that was a couple of days ago. I guess a refund would be fine but I really wanted the weapon replaced. Then again I could probably order a second one with the refund and have a Triceraton infantry duo, one with the gun and one with the blades.

Well, all these months later I received this missing Triceraton weapon in the mail. I'm glad they sent it but would it have been so hard to send me an email that said they would send me a replacement part when they got one? So anyway, I take back what I said about their customer service because they did take care of me, albeit without very good communication.
