I like how buddy didn't even change his work-out routine or his hair-cut to be Ken. Has Ken always been He-Man coded and I just never noticed? Is that why Ken was always my favorite?

Always has been, they’ve updated his hair since but you look at classic SF2 Ken and tell me he didn’t bring a He-Man card back to his barber and say “one of these, please!”

Also, look at the game they made before SF2:

Haggar got that 5.5inch bod going on, even got He-Man’s grip hand going on for when he finds a pipe or katana laying on the ground!

If there wasn’t a He-Man figure being passed around the Capcom offices when these games being developed for “inspiration” that’s some crazy convergent evolution.

Yeah, I guess I just never really thought of it because, even though I like both properties, in my mind they are so separated by style, intent, and time, that I just NEVER even connected anything about them. It DOES explain why Ken was my favorite, though.

Still.. needs a sword.

His last name isn’t “Master” though… it’s “Masters”

… as in “of the Universe”

And why is he one of the few Street Fighters with a last name?! Because Hasbro couldn’t sell a toy named just “Ken” (no matter what the song wants you to believe)

And why can’t they sell a toy named “Ken (no Last Name given”)…. because of Mattel, owners of Masters of the Universe…

We’re through the looking glass on this one, people

The Masters Sword?
Is this like a Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver situation where actually the He-Man Power Sword contains the soul of Ken Masters from the past? Someone. Make. This. Movie.
