Walmart exclusive originally, I believe. Also number one most popular GI Joe character. Unlikely to get a rerelease, but the one that came with the polar bear is repping the same era. V2 hasn’t had a retro release yet either. That’s probably more likely.

I use a heat gun on a low setting. Works better, especially on bigger figures when you need to heat joints up (like the 4H dragon to get his tail on properly).

Team hot water. I love knowing the entire figure is getting equal treatment and it's so easy to finesse things between hot and cold water.

I used to use hot water but then if the part cooled and I still need more, I would have to reheat the water. The hair dryer is right at my work station, easy to access and easier for repeated use. When I was taking apart those Punishers' glove cuffs, I tried heating all their arms at once, easy to do keeping them all in reach of the hot air. But it took so much time to take just one cuff off, I had to focus on each arm individually.
