G.I. Joe Classified Series

I bounced right the hell off of toy YouTube until Robo, who seems to have independently discovered the concepts of planning what he's going to day BEFORE he says it and not breathing like a post orgasmic buffalo directly into the mic.
Seriously. I used to be all about Shartimus...but found Robo and have jumped ship. There is another I watch when I'm bored at night, and he DROPS everything. At least 6 times a review. Weapons. Figures. Helmets. It's like he lubes up with Crisco before going on camera.

All that being said, for my T,T&B reviews, I do normally do it all in one take and right after I'm done with the pictures...but I'm typing. I can correct on the fly.

In all my years I don't think I have every looked at youtube figure reviews, just never crossed my mind. When Toyfare stopped being published, part of me died and never wanted to look at reviews again.
I still miss Toyfare, and their “Twisted Toy Theater” I looked forward to their issues every month. There’s just something different about the online reviews (apart from the obvious). They just don’t have that same feel.

Robo is one of only two toy reviewers I watch with the sound on. To be fair I usually am looking for the basics like "is this head swappable" or "does this line scale well with X line" but if I want a real human opinion it's just him and... I forget the other guy's name but he does a good job with Mythic Legions.

This is a wonderful way to put it. Yes, I will look at toy reviews hoping to find one detail like joints, scale, etc, so I will mute and scrub through looking to see if they show what I want to see. But yeah, his reviews I would watch start to finish and have the sound on as well.

Okay, finally getting around to opening my Rattler. Starting with Baroness since everyone here seems to fawn all over her. I find her vexing. Why have sexy librarian hair if you can't also put the glasses on well? If she has two accessories that HAVE to go together, it's those two. Best I can do is put the headphones over the glasses, which still has the sexy librarian in the A/V corner vibe I guess.

I had a weak moment last night and ordered Slice/Dice and Desert Scorpion from Pulse. I THINK this will be my first order from Pulse... maybe? I PO'd the Sentinel, but it hasn't charged yet. Got the SnowCat, but obviously that hasn't shipped. And I PO'd Apocalypse, but again he is next year. So this will be my first experience with the process of getting a Pulse item in Canada. I hope I don't get fucked by whatever courier they use. That's my big fear right now.
And I hope shipping doesn't take 3 weeks like it usually does at BBTS.

Secret Galaxy is pretty much the only reason I go on youtube beyond movie trailers anymore.
I'm the opposite. I spend most of my 'screen time' on YouTube. So many phenomenal channels doing great work on whatever you're interested in. I've got my HEMA/History channels, my politics channels (mostly Some More News), etc. Toy channels are actually the ones I watch the least. Just not much reason to unless there's something specific I want to see/know. Although I do follow D-Amazing. He's great. And Robo, of course.

not me talking to Robo during his videos going "where TF is that toy gonna go? WHERES IT GONNA GO?" because space is an issue
Sad part with many YouTubers is it goes to the side of the review table in a pile. Evidenced many times over at many channels when they mention "I want to compare Spidey to that Batman but I don't know where I - oh he's right here under the table buried under last months He-Man reviews."

In all seriousness, most of those are content creators first, displayers second, no matter what they say.
