Day 81 - Ambush (RAH) (12/2/25)

Continuing our month of all new, never-done-in-Classified characters from every medium and iteration with the lowest ranking G.I. Joe, Ambush!

Hell yes Ambush. Everyone from the unsung year is a yes from me.

Ambush would be great. He's one of those ones that, for me, has a really boring design on paper, but just looks great as an action figure for reasons I can't put my finger on. Never had the vintage toy, so I'd love a Classified version.

I unironically LOVE Ambush and I think if he wasn't on my top ten in the poll earlier this year he was #11. That was a GREAT year for figures who didn't get a lot of love (Chooch calling it the unsung year is spot on). 100% would love to get him in Classified.

I had to look and the year was 1990. Of the single carded villain figures, they've done 4 out of seven already! And none of the ten Joes yet, but yeah it was a solid year for real military looking characters before they got into the eco drug and neon stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with all that, just something I noticed.

Ambush, Stretcher, and Undertow all hovered in my top ten list. I can't recall if any of them made it but that was a solid year.

I liked Bullhorn and his rifle that disassembled as well. And Freefall was my sub for the guys like Airborne and Ripcord I never had

Day 82 - Freestyle (Night Force) (12/3/25)

Our month of all new, never-done-in-Classified characters continues with a Night Force pilot originally released in 2013. Freestyle would fit right in with Shooter and Wolf Spider.
