G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #281 - Baroness (Mission Suit)/Duke (Sigma 6)

I keep almost showing that to my kids, but... I'm just not ready for them to shit on it.
Obviously it’s one of my favorite childhood films and it perhaps has the most badass Dracula moment ever (the lighting-crackle cop-slaughter death-walk scene), but boy oh boy that 80s Shane Black humor ages precisely the way you’d expect 80s Shane Black humor to age. As uncomfortable to hear all the casual homophobia and misogyny dripping from the lips of Arnold and co in Predator, it’s far more disappointing coming from the mouths of kids in this film. BUT beyond some pathetic “jokes” and a whole subplot about revenge porn used in a “positive” light by the “heroes” to “save the day”, the movie really holds up. Tom Noonan is a top-tier Frankenstein Monster and he breaks my heart every time I watch it: “sc—scary?” I can’t.

Didn't grab regular Dial-Tone, -probably- wouldn't get this one either. But I'd be willing to be swayed if the Classified version looks really cool.

I hear you on allllllllll that. Noonan especially, and it's fun for me how he kept showing up in stuff I was into at that age. Monster Squad, Robocop 2, Heat, heh. And later I caught up on some of his other roles.

The art on the packaging makes DT look like he’s running away. Did he defect to Cobra?
Anyway, this version doesn’t really wow me, and DT was never a particular favorite of mine. If Classified can make him more interesting, then maybe.

All of the artwork has me convinced a side effect of using Sonic Fighters technology is intense constipation.

Day 254a - Fast Draw - (RAH) (5/24/26)

This is the last full week before Yo-Joe-June, so this week's theme is Rumors. All week, we're doing the last of the rumored figures we may well be seeing renders of in the next month or so. First up, a unique 87 figure from the original RAH days, Fast Draw!

Fast Draw is probably in my top five right now most-wanted. I just mentioned in the other thread I need to write up his file card for the Disavowed series but I haven't done him yet because WTF is THIS guy doing in that timeline? Also true story: Fast Draw was the figure where my younger brother took over the torch as "the kid mom bought the best toys for" when I was like, seven or eight I think - I'd been DYING to get him and one day I came home from elementary school and there he was in my brother's little mitts... I was DEVASTATED.

(If they put him out in classified i'd buy two and get him one though, he was blown away when I gave him his first adult-life action figure with Classified Snake Eyes.)

Fast Draw is probably right behind Spearhead and Max on my most wanted list. I looooved Fast Draw as a kid but wished he looked more like the card art, so hopefully Classified can rectify that. Also, my missile rack broke at the axle, so I wound up giving him one of the motorized (wind up) weapons with a machine gun that oscillated over his head.

Fast Draw is not one of the ones that I NEED, but he's one that I will probably buy if they make him.

Day 253a - Viper - (Sonic Fighter) (5/23/26)

Final day for Sonic Week starts with the Viper!

(Tone tag playful) I've got the only Viper I need, and her name is Ophelia Sarkissian

Lets not forget how great Duncan Regehr was as Dracula!
