G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #240 - Psyche-Out/Sneak Peek (Night Force)

I assume so, especially since they don't seem to be really dedicated to replicating whatever portraits were used in the 80s and 90s. Some of the figures, I think, don't even match each other, like the Breakers? I only have the newer one so not 100% certain there. Falcon obviously, and Duke, then Flint, etc. Hawk at least does actually look like a younger versions with the missile thing, to me at least.

Personally I look at those variations almost like an elseworlds - the Duke, Scarlett, Flint, Breaker etc. from the retro cards are from an alternate 80s timeline, and their modern counterparts are from right now. If I put them on display together I've mentally kind of worked out that someone crossed the streams and 80s Flint is working with 2026 Rock n Roll or something.

Although I don't think there's a single figure I dislike as much as the Breaker that came with the bike. Retro Breaker feels like Breaker. Bike Breaker feels like I want to know where he was on January 6th.

I would be down for both Resolute Wild Bill and unreleased Shipwreck. However I think the unreleased Shipwreck would have been better if they had kept the beard.

Breaker always makes me think of this:

Bruh v2 Low Light is a total must.
They just need to do a thing where it’s obvious LL colored his hair, like blond roots.
. . . there’s also a “Dino Hunters” version of that sculpt that DOES have blond hair/beard . . .
