Day 212b - Lamprey - (Python Patrol) (4/12/26)

Python Patrol week continues with the Hydrofoil pilot, Lamprey!

I always had a soft spot for Lamprey because I didn't have Vipers, but I did have him somehow, and he ended up being my Viper stand-in. (I eventually did get Vipers later, I think they were reissued or something?)
 
Absolutely for Lamprey, and I am likewise in for any and all Python Patrol. I already have a bunch of them, even a few kitbashes because a few of them hit deep discount at Target.
 
Maybe it’s th color palette, but Lamprey there doesn’t look like he quite fits with the P.P. I wouldn’t have immediately associated this version as a Patrol variation. I actually don’t mind this look, so yeah.
 
This week's theme has me thinking I need to do some photos with the Python Patrol figures. I love 'em to death but I haven't had them out on display in a while because we stopped getting new stuff. (Same with Tiger Force. Kinda hoping we see at least Lifeline get his TF colors.)
 
Day 213 - Trigger - (Python Patrol) (4/13/26)

Python Patrol week continues with an all new character! Trigger has a hard time standing up straight and holding guns properly.

Y'know, I neer had this guy, never even heard of him til your post right now, but I could really fit him in on my Python Patrol Squad. I really am a goddamned easy mark for these ugly-ass uniforms.
 
You are, agreed. Heh. But also, I find it really intriguing to have some PP guys who aren't repaints. I know technically, he IS mostly repaint, but I mean that PP had some original characters rather than just transfers heh.
 
A Cobra agent with a visible face. That makes him a rarity. This is the kind of look I more associate with the PP. unfortunately that makes him a. Pass for me.

That’s a bit close to “Shooter”. Maybe keep with the reptile theme, and call him Spitter” after those Cobras that spit venom? Or perhaps call him “Rinkhals” after the African spitting snake of the same name?
